I don't know what the Chargers' cap situation is right now, but it's difficult to imagine that they are going to be resource-constrained going into the offseason. They don't have a ton of high draft picks under contract. Quentin Jammer, Antoine Cason (a guy who was never as good as I expected him to be in the NFL) and Shaun Phillips are their only pending free agents of real matter.
This could be a really attractive job if they want to go out-of-house.
