Cro went from missing arm tackles and shying away from contact in the season to just touching people with his hand in the pro bowl and watching them keep running.

Peterson did the same, at least Cro touched the ball carrier... it is the freaking Pro-Bowl lol

Still. He pissed me off all season missing big tackles that would get another 20 yards because he was scared to hit the guy.

In 1984 I was able to attend the pro bowl while stationed at Hickam AFB Hawaii. Saw a few football players at the beach that year. Pretty good experience.

How was the game overall? I was at the NFL Experience.

I saw Big Red at the NFL Experience.
The game itself was a crap fest. The atmosphere was fun and as others have said it was fun seeing fans from all the teams there at talking to them. But, holy cow was it a mad house the first half. I went up for food mid way through the 2nd quarter and it was wall to wall people. The team shop was jam packed and had very little pro-bowl merch.

The fans booing the Hawks players to the point of not even being able to hear them was the highlight of my night :)

Otherwise, it was a novel experience, but not something I'll do again. Not at those prices. The game is worse than a preseason game.

1. Parking was a nightmare. The NFL completely dropped the ball on this by overpricing the passes and having NO reasonable way to ship passes short of paying $17 for fedex. Really, you couldn't come up with the parking scheme before the tickets went on sale? I ended up paying $40 to park in a lot that was supposed to be passes only. The parking was so poorly managed that most people didn't bother buying passes and tried to all park in the $20 westgate parking lot - which sold out. Both groups I was meeting there ended up getting turned away after waiting in line to park for 90 minutes and had to park at Cabelas.

2. The experience itself was worth the money. It was cool to see everything that went into the game and the superbowl setup. So cool if I had the cash right now I would probably scalp a super bowl ticket just to experience it.

3. WHERE IN THE HECK WAS THE PRO BOWL MERCH???? We tried just sports, the team shop and the small shops and there was almost NOTHING. Major revenue lost on this.

4. The game was boring until the end, when we got stuck watching Andy Dalton being Andy Dalton flailing his way through a failed comeback attempt.
