Who wins the heisman this year?

I think it will be between Winston and Mariota, but Gurley from Georgia could be a sleeper if the Bulldogs have a good year. Can't count out Brett Hundley either.

Boy it looks like I whiffed on this one. I should have went with Kenny Hill.

Kenny Hill has 299 yards passing against an SEC defense in his first half as a starting QB. Aggies lead at the half, 31-14. #TAMUvsSC

Meanwhile Mike Davis only has 15 yards rushing.

I'm a born-bred die hard Aggies fan and even I, in my wildest dreams did not think Hill would have 511 passing yards in his first game, on the road. What a performance.

FWIW, when I was in Texas in 2012, my brother-in-law told me that Kenny Hill was more talented than Johnny Manziel.

Congrats on the 52-28 win. Interesting note on Kenny Hill, but do you think that Kenny Hill went up against a bad defense or was it the skill that Kenny Hill has?

Who knows right now? Obviously, I hope South Carolina turns out to be pretty good. They were supposed to be. But, the Aggies were supposed to have a decent defense going into last season, and they were AWFUL all year. They were much better tonight, but they still gave up 28 points and just busted some coverages.

We'll just have to see what happens with these teams as the season rolls on.

Hundley doesn't look good out there, but neither does his offensive line.

Brett hundley finishes 20/33 242 yards 7.3 avg 0 TDs 0 ints
Stats don't look at that huge third down completion that Hundley had with 3:00 minutes to go in the game. I give Hundley a C+ for the game.

There's speculation among UCLA fans that the OC is "trying to win a Heisman for Hundley" and that's why the offense was so off yesterday. Too many deep drops with an OL who couldn't protect, and too much asking Hundley to stay in the pocket.

Odd to me because one of my biggest gripes with him has always been he doesn't run when he should. when he does run he's quite good, but every game he takes sacks or throws bad balls when he could have easily ran and got good yardage. This was especially true in the first half yesterday.

It was not a good performance by UCLA. The defensive TDs saved their butt. How often do you see a defense score 3 TDs in one game? It could very well be the only game like that in the NCAA this season.

Hundley looks the part. But, to me, he is lacking something that will make him a great NFL QB. It seems to me he does not really read defenses well and he doesn't have great instincts when he is being pressured.

Gurley is a stud. I would draft him in the first round if I were the Cardinals front office and had a chance to do so.

Yeah I think the two go together, he's got the same thing Kolb had where he looks at the rush and not only reacts poorly, he stops looking downfield.

UCLA dropped several passes too, the OL and the WR's didn't help him at all and they have no RB right now. It's a weird situation they have a potentially all conference RB on the roster but of course he's their best defensive player so they're not going to move Jack to RB fulltime and Mora has said he'd rather have a great LB than a good LB/RB who's too tired.

I think they'll be better in the future once they get Brendel back on the OL but the talk about a national title is preposterous with their schedule and the team.

Taysom Hill. BYU.

Watch out for BYU this season. They are loaded and Taysom Hill is one very good QB. Dual threat.Tebow with an actual arm and passing game. 2 road games including a walloping of Texas.
