Am I missing something on Mariotti? I cannot see him as a future elite QB. He might be one of those college guys whose game is great for college but does not translate to the NFL. Terrific athlete. Very intelligent. Has the Oregon system stunted his growth as a QB? Every Duck QB will be extremely productive in that system. The Heisman is supposedly about the college body of work and he would be a great example of that.

He reminds me a lot of Colin Kaepernick. I think he has a good build, delivery and can obviously cover some ground running. Whether he will be "elite" in the future is debatable. I think he will go pretty high in the draft and has the potential to be an excellent pro QB. With that said, I think you are right about the system. He also has a ton of talent around him that makes him look great.

Taysom Hill is playing like a running back in the first quarter of this game against Houston. 16-0 BYU

Gurley isn't doing anything against the South Carolina defense.

Nevermind he's had a big second half. C'mon Georgia get a stop!

128 and a TD is not too bad. Probably going to be the one that wins it for Georgia at the end of this game!

Jameis Winston is starring down his receivers, and this isn't the only game he's been doing it. I don't know how Winston's game is going to translate to the next level, but color me unimpressed.

But Gurley was an absolute beast today! Hundley man handled asu. Winston is a distraction and sure how that will go for him in the NFL. I wouldn't want Winston

Winston play reminds me of Colin Kaepernick.

Any chance Hundley had is gone now. Kid is so perplexing, great size, good arm, great runner, and he's Kevin Kolb in the pocket. UCLA was running the ball often last night and Hundley took TEN sacks in the loss.

Fans are blaming Mazzone, all I can say is by design UCLA had FOUR plays last night where the receiver was wide open for a TD with no safety help, and Hundley only completed 2 of them. The last 2 TD's were completely by scheme and formation getting a guy wide open, that's great play calling. The earlier TD was teh result of a bad roughing call, I did think Jack was interfered with but if Hundley made a good throw that's an easy TD.

I know he's got the left elbow injury but he just has zero pocket presence, would shatter NFL sacks taken records.

Taysom Hill, BYU QB season ending broken ankle injury. There goes his Heismann chance.

Is everything
Gurley has been indefinitely suspended by Georgia. There goes his Heismann chance.

Now there are rumors circulating that Crab stealer will drop out of FSU so he won't have to face the "hearing". Not that he had a chance.

I think it's now Mariota's trophy to lose. I don't think MSU will go undefeated. They might, but they still have road games at Alabama and Ole Miss. I think they lose one, or both, of those.

and Crabman again postponed his hearing. Think he wants a shot at back to back trophies since the voters will exclude the "integrity" criterion from the process.
