I think the Suns are gonna try to get Lin. Then sign Thomas and resign Bledsoe.

Bledsoe, Thomas, Ennis
Dragic, Lin, Goodwin

6 deep.

Why do some of you want to keep Goodwin out of the rotation? Especially since the James episode is over.

Next season is the time to move Archie into the mix and see how far he can go.

Lol I'm a huge Goodwin fan.

But I know that the Suns FO hates him or doesn't trust him.

I wish Goodwin would get an opportunity.

I'm pretty sure that Lin was sarcasm on 88's part, driven by frustration over our apparent FA focus on guards. Or at least I hope it was.

Houston cant offer Bosh the max unless they lose Parsons, Beverly, Lin, T.Jones, Motiejunas..

They have to basically drop everyone except Harden and Howard.

Oh, sorry, 7 deep. Every team needs 7 point guards.

I am confused. How does Lin to LA affect Suns with Thomas and Bledsoe?
What obvious thing am I missing this time?

Thomas was linked to L.A., but not anymore. Assuming that what they mean.

I never thought the Lakers were a serious competitor for Bledsoe. We can match any offer, and they have NOTHING to trade. They literally have five players under contract.

The Lakers could have made the Suns pay Bledsoe the max. However, it may likely happen anyway,

If he agrees to the offer sheet

I don't think it is likely the Lakers will go after Bledsoe offering the max after signing Lin. Another team might.

I'm doubting that at this point. After the contract given to Lowry this year and the previous rates given guys like Curry, Conley and Lawson -- I expect Bledsoe to get 4 years, 44-50 million, maybe a player option on year 4.

After the Magic addressed it in the draft, the Lakers trade for Lin... who is the team with the need and the cap space to offer Bledsoe a max at this point?

I also am starting to think the Suns and Bledsoe have likely already come to a tentative deal but are waiting for other dominoes to fall before announcing it and gobbling up the cap space.

That said, if some team pops up and stuns everyone by chucking Bledsoe a max contract (Bobcats if Jazz match Hayward? Heat?), I still think the Suns should match regardless. You don't let premium assets walk for nothing.

I thought that was a done deal.

I kept hearing they were only moving Lin if they knew one of the big names was coming their way, with Bosh shocking them I'd think they'd back out unless its final.
