With all the hard work KJ did for the city of Sacramento in keeping the Kings, I doubt he could go to the line for another city's team.

It's hilarious, i guess nobody listened to barkley on ktar this week?

He said he would kill lebron james if came to the suns with carmelo, no great player should move from team to team, teaming up with other great players. He said it's only ok if lebron is in cleveland or miami.

He also said bledsoe/dragic cant play together, of course they won 2/3 of games when they played together. Barkley is same guy who picked spurs to lose every serious.

lol...Barkley. what the hell did he do in his career? moved to Phoenix with a bunch of a great players, then when our run was over forced a trade to Houston...who at the time still looked like they had a bunch of great players.

I hate how secret and quiet everything is.

Not only on the Lebron side but also concerning Tucker, Bledsoe and Frye. There seems to be stuff going on but we have no clue at all what McD is stringing together.

I guess even if Lebron meets teams personally we might not even hear about it until it already happened.

It's either the Suns or he stays with Miami. Next week's meetings are going to be interesting, McD is a sharp dude, there's no way other teams can match our assets and flexibility in giving Lebron the best roster possible.

I like how quiet the Suns have been able to keep everything. May be frustrating as fans but it gives the team an advantage as they watch the rest of the league play their hands.

I'm surprised that there haven't been any meaningful developments on the LeBron thing in the past 2 days. Clock's ticking on LeBron, just 3 more days.

My bet is Lebron is going to end up back in Cleveland. Bosh will go to Houston, and Melo will either be in NY or LA. I'm just hoping the Suns can help out in sign and trades and take on some expiring deals and maybe end up with a piece or 2 or picks. Try again next year or continue to work on a trade for Love. I really hope we don't offer multi year deals to what's left out there. Sign Bledsoe, Tucker, and maybe a guy or two to 1 year deals or the expirings from a trade..

This is not a bad scenario. I don't think the Suns need serious fixing to be competitive if the Heat players actually did split off. Pick up some quality spinoffs in trades and keep flexibility going forward. The worst thing the Suns can do is overspend.

It seems we could all use a break from this free agent crap. Whether your optimistic, pessimistic, or just don't give a rats ass. This is truly amazing to watch and very relaxing. Hope all your 4th's we're safe and enjoyable!

This waiting is getting annoying. Lebron wants the Heat to sign some players to help him before he commits, but his indecisiveness is preventing them from signing with the Heat and keeping other teams from making them potentially better offers.

I'd imagine in a few days that other free agents who are having their pay day delayed by Lebron and Melo will become impatient and let out a few passive aggressive tweets.

Lebron's going to eventually have to **** or get off the pot, and I'm not sure if or when the Suns should tell him that. Eventually you have to give up on the hot girl you keep asking out when she keeps giving you excuses, but won't flat out tell you no. The good news is we don't have much to lose by waiting except for Frye and Tucker. There's not much out there besides overpaying for Deng or having our offer to Hayward matched by Utah.

If we miss out on Lebron, I'd like to pick up a young PF like Jordan Hill. Maybe use our cap space to take on salary and acquire picks, or take a flyer on someone with a larger than normal one year contract instead of multiple years so we can possibly use the expiring contract at the deadline.

Some media gives Lebron credit for keeping a low profile in what might be called "Decision 2." I don't, he has literally dominated the news in free agency and slowed down the whole process. I wonder if he will televise his decision this time around.

Maybe but what is he supposed to do? If he signed with Miami before they demonstrated good faith then he loses his leverage. They need to prove to Lebron that they can put talent on the floor with him and that their penny pinching days are behind them.

They've already gone back on their word once as far as he's concerned. They told him they would do everything they could to put together a championship dynasty. And yet, after they win their title they start making cost cutting decisions. Arison is getting richer from the presence of Lebron and yet he's jettisoned talent and passed on bringing in others simply to save a few bucks. You can't expect the best player in the game to continue to sacrifice in order to win it all and have the owner not do the same.

It's not a good situation but I don't think anyone can lay it all at Lebron's feet. We knew there wasn't going to be a quick decision going into it. And as you said, it's not really putting us at risk. The waiting is hard on us fans but it's not really going to make much of a difference in the long run.

The Suns are one of the teams showing interest in Marvin Williams. It sounds like he could be a good fit with the Suns although (admittedly) I have not watched him much. He can play both forward positions and rebound some.

It will be his 10th season in the league. He still has untapped potential but he's been a below average player every year he's been in the league. I guess every team needs a few below average players but this signing wouldn't excite me.

Depends on the price. If he is expecting what he was getting his past contract I wouldn't be interested but I think in the right situation his game can take a massive step forward similar to Gerald Green saw.

I'm sure two years in Utah did not help his career. What I like, he can play both forward positions and rebound reasonably well. I'm not sure about his story in Atlanta except looking at stats. What I want the Suns to do is solidify their front line. Maybe Jordon Hill or some others would be better candidates. I'm not locked into a particular player.

Williams doesn't seem to be much of a rebounder from his stats. A career 5.1 average in 29 minutes a game.

Marvin Williams is garbage. Inefficient chucker who rarely ever passes.

I'd rather have Dionte Christmas and Marcus Morris than Marvin Williams.

I'm definitely wanting to keep the Morris twins unless the Suns are pushed into trading them for a major piece.

The Marvin Williams that did squat for Atlanta all those years? Why on earth would the Suns want him. He's not even a PF... his teammate Jeremy Evans, who is listed as SF, rebounds much better and blocks shots at three times the rate. Heck, I'd much rather have Evans than Hayward. He's quietly efficient and is more athletic - he'd fit right in with the Suns. Better defender than Hayward, too, as indicated by the tracking stats.

I really can't understand why the Suns are interested in these PF's who can't rebound significantly better that Frye. Might as well keep Channing... I don't mind him on the team as a role player.

Not sure after 10 years there is any untapped potential. I think by then players are what they are. Either way I agree with you not an exciting signing.

I think the Suns are always looking at players that can provide depth if they do a major trade.... probably a lot of players we do not hear about. Williams is likely a name on that list. It seems to me, after following McDonough through two drafts and free agency last season, he likes to know about all the chips in play.
