Did you read the article? It states that Giannis is their only untouchable player and it would take a good offer for them to move Middleton or Parker. That team has a lot of needs, primarily in the backcourt which is where we have too many players, and they're really young. I explained why it might be plausible for them to do a deal with Phoenix. They're where Phoenix was before this season, they aren't good enough to do anything in the playoffs, or make the playoffs now, and they're not bad enough to draft a big time prospect. They actually have young talent at every position though so it seems like they'd rather scrape their way into the playoffs. That's why I suggested the deal I did.
I stated why they might take Knight back in my other post and what Phoenix might look for in return from them. Sure, Mayo & Vasquez are filler, at best they fill a short term need here in Phoenix for the remained of the year but those guys don't have futures in Milwaukee or in Phoenix based on the direction of each franchise and how they're being used where they are. Milwaukee isn't a hot free agent market, just like the Suns aren't, but they've always had a difficult time signing quality free agents so trading expiring deals for players who are locked in for the next few seasons help them sort out some things for the future. The article doesn't say anything about what they're looking for in trades but if they're willing to move 2 of their starters they'd probably move just about everyone. Monroe was their biggest FA acquisition in probably 15-20 years. He actually chose them over LA and NY. If they're willing to move him while he's having a pretty good season I don't see why it's so far fetched to think most everyone on their team is available. It seems Kidd doesn't know what he's doing with the personnel there.
This is a thread where people are posting about teams and players looking to make deals, I tried to tie it back to the Suns and their future and needs rather than just say Milwaukee is looking to move these guys and they've sucked ever since they sent Knight to Phoenix last season. Sure a deal with them isn't that likely but they might consider it because they're in a rare position where they could get a player they traded away who was their leader and they've been in worse shape without him. I'm sure Phoenix is willing to listen to any offers for Knight.
