or the Suns might trade out of the first round completely.....interesting. I wouldn't be against moving out of the first round.

you know what's sad about that article? they've had 5 first round picks in the last two years and none of them have made a big impact. Len's made a little, but has been marred by injuries... which was the rap on him coming out of college.

that's pretty pathetic.

At #13 I like right now

C/F - Willie Cauley-Stein - most likely top 10
SF - Kelly Oubre - probably going 2-3 picks before us
PF - Bobby Portis - good size but worrying lack of athleticism

At #44 I like
G/F Timothee Luwawu
G - JP Tokoto
PF - Chris Walker
G/F - Paul Zipser
C - Dakari Johnson

Portis is athletic, just not explosive. He can run, is a good ball handler for his size and is an active defender who can cover a lot of ground. He plays "below the rim" and isn't an elite rim protector, only had a 31" vertical at the Combine. He has the length and wingspan to be a rim protector just lacks the explosiveness getting off the floor. If he can develop an advanced post game he could be the steal of the draft, awfully talented.

Kaminsky booker oubre - any of those. Intrigued by Kaminsky but superficially looks like a bust (love his 3pt % though and what that could do for the team), oubre the best player but will probably go before 13 like you say, booker sounds pretty comfortably like the best shooter who could well be on the board when we pick.

Ideally the Suns should trade for Spencer Hawes, draft Bobby Portis, hopefully keep Brandon Wright and Danny Granger. This would be a huge step towards making the Suns a better team.

no but I have questions about what else he can do and if he can get good shots off in the NBA or if he is the next "shooter" flop like Stauskas, Fredette, McDermott etc...
He does not get steals, blocks, rebounds or assists at a good rate.

I want us to secure Cauley-Stein. It would be a big project but I envision Len and Stein playing together with Cauley-Stein guarding forwards.

If Stein in time develops a solid midrange jumpshot that could be an ok frontcourt offensively and a stellar defensive frontcourt.

I agree about Booker. He looks to be a one trick pony and not much else. PHX needs to add someone who can shoot and defend.

Not high on WCS as he will not be as effective in NBA with his current frame. I would rather have Christian Wood who is more talented.

Doesn't matter how quick you are if you don't actually use it for anything. Booker shoots. Doesn't defend, rebound, or distribute.

We need shooters, but we need two-way players.

Devin Booker's relative short wingspan was an immediate turnoff for me. Besides, I'd like for the Suns to go big if the talent is there.

For me, this is a bad sign. I was hoping for a Suns-Bledsoe divorce, but that looks unlikely.

If healthy, I'm thinking Brandon Knight would be the better primary PG if the Suns ever get over the two PG thing. Anyway, it doesn't look like this idea is going away anytime soon.

At least it shows Bledsoe is committed to the Suns.

Besides, I'd rather have Bledsoe's input rather than Sarver. :D

Bledsoe still has lots and lots of potential. He has shown he can dominate on the court on both end. Put better shooters on this team and he will look better. Put another player along side him that buys into the two combo guard idea and he will look better too. Obviously Dragic didn't buy in.

I am at least open to seeing how Bledsoe and Knight look together. We really havent seen that yet.
