After watching his Draft Express video on YouTube I am a fan. Looks like a potential Draymond Green clone but more explosive. Harrell would be my back up if Portis is somehow gone. If Harrell were 6'10 he'd be in the Top 5 of this draft.

He is long. His standing reach (real height) is 9-1. Kaminsky's is 9-1.5. Most other big men in the draft are in the 9-2 region. So his length is right there with the biggest players in the draft.

He just can't shoot.

But McD never drafts shooters. Look at his draft history.

The Suns have maintained they will stay at #13. We shall see how this effects the Suns.
I hope for our sake the teams in front of us make some horrible reach and picks.

The word is the Suns really want Kaminsky but other teams ahead of the Suns want him. I understand the Suns would like to get the Hornets pick at #9.

For Kaminsky?? Wow.

It's hard to know what is a smokescreen but I believe the Suns like Kaminsky. However, at #9 they might go after Turner. This draft is going to be one crazy ride trying to figure out what teams are going to do before the Suns pick.

Chad Ford is saying the Suns will have to move to #9 to get Kaminsky.

I prefer the Suns draft Bobby Portis at #13.

I heard that for the Suns to move up they would have to include Bledsoe plus their draft pick. IMO might be worth it for #4 but way to high for #9.

The Suns could sweeten a trade with another team drafting earlier than the Suns by including a draft pick and #13. Giving up Bledsoe is too much.

I don't regret the Len pick, at least not yet.

He can't shoot anything like Draymond but he'sa spectacular athlete

I wonder if that has anything with D'Angelo Russell possibly going #2 overall. Why don't the Knicks stay put and draft Mudiay?

I think teams are waffling at the top because there does not appear to be a sure thing after #3.

He apparently didn't work out that well. He didn't shoot well for teams, he wasn't as athletic as they expected, and there's been some rumblings of "red flags."

remember, there is a reason Mudiay played in China and it wasn't because he wanted to be a trailblazer. It was because he was going to be ruled ineligible at SMU both for academics and for amateur status. Normally NBA teams wouldn't care about that stuff but maybe that was an indication there was more to that?

CHAD FORD: 'FRANK THE TANK'S ON FIRE'
"Frank Kaminsky was a 13, now up to 9, could go all the way up to 6. Could go all the way up -- believe it or not, Knicks fans -- to 4. ... Probably the hottest name right now."

http://espn.go.com/nba/

Ford is also saying the Suns are trying to move up to get him.

So much crap flies around on the "eve" of the Draft. Then, players normally fall as you would expect. But all it takes is one stupid reach, which is why I think GMs like playing this game. It is like chess for the wealthy.
