Two positives for me:
1. We got the pick in fast, and we know how Kiem likes to trade down. That means we really liked him.
2. Second, we didn't pick for need, he obviously was the best available in the staffs opinion. Because Bobby Massie is Ok at RT.

Those two things tell me they really like Humphries. So, while not exciting, I will trust Kiem on this one.

I'll reserve judgment. Went where most analysts predicted (late first round). Many predict he'll be converted to RT. has a nasty demeanor in the run game. Our run game has been awful for 30 years. You win in the NFL with a strong OL and DL. Not a sexy pick and I wanted defense, but I'm not gonna poo poo the pick too much.

Well said. It's not a sexy pick, that's true. But it's what the Cards needed to do. Build that Oline into a power house! It's how you win in the NFL. Look what the Cowboys did. They built their Oline into one of the best and they turned their team around and made their mediocre QB and RB into pro bowlers.

Mediocre QB? Don't think so. But you still gotta have a talented player with vision to run the rock & I don't think that guy is Dre on a regular basis.

Hardly, you are implying that the order guys are drafted is the order of success they will have in the NFL... maybe some of those teams did not get it right lol
