Meant dominate OLB

I think of Golden as more of a DE. Better suited for containment and can rush the passer. As opposed to a downright dominate pass rusher to pressure the QB in the 4th qtr by himself so we don't have to blitz all the time. Not sure Golden is that guy.

That guy was Dupree. We didn't get him.

I don't see him even listed in the 3 mock drafts in front of me. Also hard to find a player profile. My only question is why did we trade up for him ?

Booooo!!!

His team went 2-10 last year.

We're also totally converting to a 4-3 this year. Like 6 DTs and one legit NT.

Cardinals selected Delaware State DL Rodney Gunter with the No. 116 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft.
The Cards gave pick Nos. 123, 198 and 241 to the Browns for the right to move up. They reportedly thought the 49ers would take Gunter at No. 117 overall. He goes 6'4/298 and sports enough athleticism to run 4.90 forty, record a 9'7" broad jump and dunk a basketball. Gunter is capable of playing both end and tackle in the desert.

Smaller school prospects with upside start coming off draft boards here.

The scouting dept. knows more than us common draft followers.

This, because for all those people upset about not knowing anything about a guy... I am really sorry that your scouting staff known as the internet media did not know much about him lol

Gunter is ultra athletic. He is 6'5" tall, 305 lbs, ran a 4.78 40 and can dunk a basketball (for what that's worth).

More ammo that we might be switching schemes. We are WAY more flexable along the DL than I can remember in a long time.

Remember that we also have Golden and Kareem Martin along with Stinson and the Cory's.

I don't believe we are converting to a 4-3.

There is a highlight videl on him. He played in a 3-4 and lined up at all positions including DT. He looks like a flat out bull-rusher. Very strong (hard to really tell against that level of competition). Built like a d lineman, not a linebacker. Strong. Not alot of rush moves.

Still a head scratcher. It will be interesting to see if this kid can actually play.

Should be there in the 5th. Super RAW.

Read the report above, though. We thought the 49ers would take him. If we really believe in his talent, we don't want to play against him twice a year for the rest of his career.

Clearly Keim loves small school guys with superior athleticism

Greg Toler, Justin Bethel, John Brown and now this guy

I sure hope he turns out.

He's 3/3 on the above so far.

So they had him in mind when turning down the trade parameters with the Bengals in Rd. 1 , possibly.
