I agree with you about LAD but I hope STL beats CHC. I know people will root for CHC because they've been terrible for so long but it's hard to root for a big market team that has money to buy the players it needs and they will spend big again this offseason win or lose whereas we D'Back fans can only hope the FA scraps we get can get us over .500.I am okay with any one of the AL teams. I would prefer that the Cardinals and the Dodgers do not make it out of the first round...

I see your point but in the Cub's case, the are #11 in payroll. The Dodgers and Giants are #1 and #3 and both in our division and they are looking to spend more also.
Meanwhile we are #28. Sucks, but with no salary cap what can you do?

3 of the 4 starting infielders are rookies & a couple of the outfielders.
And they only have three players that average $10 million or more and one of those was aquired in a trade in Montero. Heck, the Braves had 5 players making $10 million or more. The Cubs rebuilt through their farm system. Now, this off season, I expect them to break the bank with Price and with two $25+ million arms you will have a case.

Lol I caught a glimpse of the stat when it was on the TV screen. I guess they were talking about his last five starts.
But still not good.
