I like this.....but it's easier said than done. Nassib could be available at the end of the 1st Rd.

Getting pressure up the gut is the quickest way to the QB. That's what the plan was in putting Gunther in at NT. Mixed results. Don't know if he can apply more pressure from the outside. Peters might be able to provide something of a push inside, we'll have to wait and see.

No matter what - the Cardinals need to get some MORE pass rushers along that DL. That DOES open more opportunities for the LBing core.

Danny Trevathan could be the best LB FA signing out there. He strengthens us immediately up the gut. Very important in our division moving ahead.

I don't understand this. I get that it's a position where we've had playmakers for a decade before this one, but isn't Danny Trevathan essentially the Dexter Jackson of linebackers? I'm sure he's perfectly okay, but he's like the fifth-best player on that defense.

I'm not actually sure he upgrades us that much.

Totally agree. I'm not sure he's going to be worth the coin he gets in FA, plus I think the Cards are content with Buc & Minter & that's scary IMO.

I think we Can try To sign the cheaper jaye howard
Very productive for the Chiefs last season, has similiar stats to malik Jackson but his name not so hot
Then we Can make a year deal to JJP
The talent there .just need to learn how to play with his handicap.
Then I like zach brown and i d try To sign Also the bengals safety Iloka

Draft trade up for Spence and get Xavier howard in the 3th round

We add lenght and speed

Howard(rucker) peters(Gunther ) campbell(stinson)
Jpp (martin) Bucannon -zach brown Spence (golden)

Peterson mathieu Iloka howard (veteran)

Get a Von Miller and players like Gunther, Freeney, Golden and Campbell will get a bunch more sacks. Plus our Blitzer's will be vastly more impactful.

This is like saying that Lambert was the 5-6th best on his D. That D is what carried them. I think he upgrades us. And yes he will cost some coin. But we are trying to contend for a title. I don't particularly like going forward with Bucannon in the middle. On passing (2nd-3rd) downs fine. But we need a 3 down ILB, and I don't think it's either one we have right now. I don't want to really stick a rookie in there either. So to me, he'd be a good fit here, for sure.

So is Buffalo. How is Khalil Mack working out? If you don't look under those rocks at small colleges, you are losing out.

Ochi was outstanding in Senior Game practices and in the game. He's not going in the 5th Round

I forget the exact story, but Mack was recruited to play for either Miami or Florida, but I believe he stayed in Buffalo for family reasons...I forget the exact details, but part of looking into small college players is why are they at small colleges. Was there a size issue? Was there family issues? There is always more to the story.

Vernon Butler went to Louisiana Tech, but was recruited by several prominent SEC teams. He states he fell in love with Tech. The important part is that he had talent out of high school to play at a major college and that checks a box that he wasn't just a late bloomer.
