I think McDonough definitely has an advantage over Ainge to make a deal for a vet. Nobody wants to be the latest GM fleeced by Ainge while any deal they make with McDonough will be instantly viewed as a success.

McDonough has made some good deals and some bad deals but the league wide perception is that the Suns are still inept.

I really really want Chriss. But i dont care if it is at 4,5,6,7 or whatever.

I actually wouldnt mind trading Bledsoe and/or Knight if it means that we get Chriss and Dunn so we go really young next year instead of trying to get veterans for a playoff push.

There's a reason why teams don't like to draft 2 players in the first round much less 3.

3 first rounders also happens all the time.

If the Celtics dont pick Dunn maybe we could pick him at 4 and move Bledsoe for 5 to Minny to pick Chriss.

I am defintely on the full rebuild plan with Booker instead of retooling with vets now.

I know it happens but all those young players don't nessesarily translate to a positive winning environment.

My guess is that they'll overpay for the replacement first, then move both of them in a panic.

I don't know where else to put this but...

I think this is partly about the relationship between Bledsoe and Knight, and maybe even the relationship between Knight and the team in general. Knight hasn't really accepted the idea he's not a point guard. I also think this was precipitated by Rich Paul, who probably said something along the lines of trade Bledsoe or trade Knight. And we are likely finding out that right now neither of them have much trade value. So basically, we're screwed.

Gambo was adama t that this is absolutely not the case and Bledsoe will not be traded.

My buddy in PA is saying that the the rumors are still hot on the radio that the 76ers are trying to put together a package or involve a 3rd team to pry #3 from the Celtics. Rumor has they want Dunn bad.

Chriss and Dejounte Murray + whatever we get for 28/34

If we dont get Murray or even if we do, I could see us get Tyler Ulis if we stay at 34.
