Dejounte Murray would also be interesting still.
Lets see how far Skal, Murray, Richardson, Luwawu, Davis fall...

Love the draft. Was really struggling deciding which guy I liked. Now we at least have two shots for one of these bigs to hit! And if they both do, with Booker is a great young nucleus. Word was that they think Chriss might develop into a 3. If the front line ends up being 6'10 Chriss, 7'1 bender, 7'1 Len that's quite some size. Add in 6'6 booker and we have length.
But will Bender even sign this year. They might just let him play in the Euro leagues for a few more years to develop his game. He's just too light and lanky for the NBA right now, imo. But then again I'm not the GM.

They can see how Chriss develops and keep Bender in their pockets.

I'd be shocked if they didn't bring bender over immediately. Top 4 picks aren't usually stash guys.

I'm kinda curious why Brice Johnson is dropping so much. He has decent athleticism and averaged 10 rebounds per game last season for UNC. Shots a good percentage from the FT line (80%) and has promise to develop a decent mid range shot too. Hmm...

Kay Felder is probably my choice right now for #34.

The Suns could go PG in the 2nd round but stashing a center would not be a bad idea.

We are at 22 and on the board we still have Skal, Murray, Luwawu, Davis, Richardson, Zizic, Zubac, D. Jones... If one of those makes it to 34 ...
You don't think we should get a pass first type PG somewhere in this draft?

That said, yea if Skal or Davis drops then take em. I don't like Murray much. I like Luwawau couple weeks ago but after reading more about him, kinda soured. Richardson just got drafted by Sacramento. We just drafted 2 front court players and still have Chandler/Len plus Teletovic who they will resign so not sure Zizic or Zubac are the right options (exceptions made for Skal & Davis).

If you went PG, who would you go with at #34? Murray? Anyone else?

I would hope for Murray but drafting high potential guys in the 2nd is not attractive due to 2nd round contracts.

I really have my fingers crossed on Ulis. I think he could give us one of the best backup point guards in the league, almost from day one on. My only concern would be his health issue and whether he's realistic on his NBA future.

Dejounte would be awesome but I think we gonna pick Tyler Ulis.

I don't like Dejounte as a point guard but at this stage of the draft I'd consider trading up for him if the price is right. He could be a great threat off the bench.

Philly needs a PG bad, hope we can fleece them with Knight.

With all the rumors about Bledsoe and Knight I have to believe there's something in the works but I doubt it's a draft night deal.

First off, congrats Suns fans. Nice coup in the draft getting two high ceiling bigs. You legitimately have something to be exited about moving ahead. It will still take awhile but the foundation is there now. I think Chriss will see the court more yr. 1.

What does this even mean? Don't take guys you think will be good in the second round? What?!?

I think he's talking about the risk of taking a project in the 2nd rounder where you're likely to lose them before they develop. In the first round you're much more protected so can afford to wait and grow that talent.
