Yesterday people were throwing fits because we didn't make any aggressive moves. Now we do make an aggressive move for a guy that has been high up on their list for a long time and people are throwing fits about that.

lol
There's aggressive and there's dumb big difference

Overall Football Traits
Production 1
Height-Weight-Speed 3
Durability 2
Intangibles 2
1= EXCEPTIONAL2= ABOVE AVERAGE3= AVERAGE4= BELOW AVERAGE5= MARGINAL

Safety Specific Skills

Instincts/Recognition 1 Excellent instincts in zone coverage and in run support. Fast eyes. Consistently diagnoses plays early and always seems to be around the ball.

Cover Skills 2 Lack of size could be an issue versus bigger WRs/TE's in the NFL, but rarely had trouble matching up one-on-one in college. Very good range in zone coverage. Good recovery speed.

Ball Skills 3 Knows when to attack the ball and when to attack the target. Inconsistent hands. Average ball production with 19 PBUs and five INTs in three seasons. Does a good job of punching at the ball while still wrapping up as a tackler (three career forced fumbles).

Run Support 2 Only knock here is lack of size. Otherwise, he's a highly effective run supporter with elite open-field tackling skills for his size. His unique trait is his instincts in pursuit. Takes excellent angles and has an impressive knack for knowing when/how to either take on blockers or slip.

Ran a 4.3 40 how does he get a 3 on speed?????

They did say before the draft they wouldn't be afraid to use a next year's pick because they figure to have 3rd or 4th rounders as comp picks
Bingo. Free collateral from losing Jefferson

I do not know if our comp picks have been figured out, but I do not think it was a lot if they think the guy is special and any comparisons to Honey Badger is not too bad at all. This is what I love... yes we traded, but seeing the Cardinals be aggressive for a guy they believe in is something I seldom saw from this organization, I am digging this draft so far

Keim said multiple times he would be using later picks to move up. This isn't surprising.

Not sure I would have traded up, but I do like the pick. Should really help in the secondary. Cards needed to reload on defense and got two real good weapons.

Also.... as teams go..... We ABSOLUTELY make our picks based on NEED. Not pure BPA.

Our first two picks are really really fast on defense. He is considered a nickle corner btw.
