I wouldn't mind Porter at 16 but I'm not high on landing a quality player with that pick anyway. If he's picked by us then the training staff signed off on him, which is a good thing. If he doesn't play this year, I'm not that worried.

On another note, normally I don't mind Gambadoro. The New York tough guy schtick gets old, but he has good insight and has more contacts than anyone. I just don't appreciate the need to so badly be 'first with the information' that he shouts out the draft pick seconds before it's delivered by the commissioner.

If you find out some detail days or weeks in advance, that's a scoop. This stupid thing he does at draft time is like your stupid kid brother who shouts out the punch line just as you're about to deliver it to an audience, ten times in a row. IRRRRKKKSOME

that's a great pick to round out their front court, which if it can stay healthy will be eventually be the best in the NBA.
