yeah... you keep saying this, but they're both 6'7 3s and very undersized 4s. Neither of them are Draymond which allows the Warriors to play as small as they do.

look... I think Mikal is going to be a really good player. I just think we already had that position locked down and I really don't like getting rid of that pick with absolutely zero protection.

Jackson is an elite athlete and quality defender, albeit without a + wing span. Bridges is a quality defender and good shooter with a 7'0.5" wingspan. Both guys can play multiple positions, especially next to an elite rebounder in Ayton.

We just arent going to see things eye to eye if you believe players need to slot into positions. I agree on the protection though. That could be a massive blow when the pick conveys.

The Suns really like small forwards.

Alkins and Trier going undrafted tells you how bad Aytons teammates were.

Trier actually makes sense. One of the guys on another board said just the fact that he tested positive TWICE for PED's in college is enough to make him almost undraftable if he's not a star, nobody wants to use a pick on a kid who might test positive again. Alkins was a tweener anyways but I think he's a better player than several of the guys already picked.

Josh is 6-8. But with Ayton standing there, you have Jackson and Bridges at the forwards. You can also bring in Bender, run Devin at the point, or now even run FrenchO and the point in smaller line ups. Lots of switchable parts.

Love how almost nobody mentions BK as a part of the rotation.

Yeah good player, killed UCLA this year. Most of the highlights you see of Ayton's defense on the perimeter is that one game against King where King had been killing bigs all year playing the 4 in a small lineup, and Ayton did a terrific job guarding him that game

Bilas and Billups both mentioned the Suns as having the best draft. Just fyi. Great night, my gut tells me there is a trade on the horizon. Summer league is going to be fun to watch.

I'm willing to admit I may be living in the past with having that little size on the floor, but it's the lack of protection on that pick that really grates my cheese here.

Why not take Antetokounmpo? Yes, he's a project but why take another SF? At least Kostas might have provided us with a rim protector.

Some speculation on a Warriors board that the medical reports on Alkins' foot scared some teams off, they think it's not fully healed.

Virtually nobody had Trier projected to get drafted, I still say if he's on an NBA roster next year it'll be the Warriors as a favor to Durant.

This sheds some light on the subject. Appreciate the information.

The fact that Thomas Welsh and George King got picked in the draft leads me to believe that GMs were picking names out of a hat towards the end
