With Durant balling, if Curry keeps heating up, GS is gonna roll unless CP3 starts hitting.

Houston came out with all emotion and should have a much larger lead right now.

DAMN WHAT A BLOCK BY CAPELLA!

Harden is 0-6 from 3 point range. He needs to start hitting those shots if the Rockets are to win.

Starting Igudola was a mistake, IMO. Everyone knew they'd got with the "Hampton 5" lineup for a good portion of the Rockets series but keeping up a consistency and chemistry with a typical starting 5, either with McGee, Pachulia, or Looney would have helped keep the wear on AI down and it also would have allowed them to rest their other starter a little more by having him as an option to sub in early for anyone, rather than how their substitution pattern has been, which has been inconsistent and lacking a pattern really.

I could have seen going with that starting 5 later in the series if they fell behind but if this gets drug out to 7 games, I think how they used Iggy will be a factor in it being stretched out.

So Iggy bumping knees with Harden was because he started?

Anybody who's ever played knows bumping knees happens and it hurts like hell, but it has nothing to do with minutes played. It was a fluke play that happened. It's just showing how valuable Iggy is to the Warriors, especially against the Rockets.

Of course it would help if they could get to the FT line, 19 attemps in the last 6 quarters, they have to get to the rim and draw more fouls

The Rockets have missed a lot of normally easy shots.

When was the last time GSW's scored 17 points in a quarter?

Difference between regular season and playoff D. Stark contrast.

Turnovers. It's their achilles heel, when they lose its usually turnovers and bad 3 point shooting, like the 4th quarter of game 4.

Tonight first quarter was awful. honestly to be tied at teh half as badly as they played in the first is impressive. For Houston to shoot that poorly and be tied is impressive.

Houston's "other guys" are carrying them, for the Warriors it's basically Durant and Curry.

Live I was yelling goaltend but then the replay you could see it wasn't. I thought it hit the glass before he blocked it but he actually blocked to to the glass. Amazing play.

Draymond had a block on that play where Paul stole the rebound that was pretty impressive too, easy layup by Paul he deflected

CP3 is no showing strong tonight.

Gotta be his foot or ankle or whatever is hurt. There was a play at the end of the half where he got caught on a screen by Draymond, grabbed on, fell down and then tripped Draymond. They called the foul and Draymond went 1-2 but I was thinking more about his lack of balance it has to be the injury. It wasn't some abnormal screen he just didn't have the lateral movement to get around Green so he grabbed him and eventually tripped him

It's not the injury as much as the chemistry. The injury happened, it can't be avoided, but they could have been building more consistency and familiarity with others by staying with a more traditional lineup. The only team that Hampton 5 lineup was going to be used a lot against was the Rockets. They'll be more prepared for the next round using a real big like Pachulia, Javale, or Looney.

Also at Iggy's age, I wouldn't play him more than I needed to. He's vital to the Warriors 2nd unit and losing him hurts them a lot. Hopefully he'll be fine but now they need to play with a more traditional lineup anyways with him injured and that isn't something they threw at Houston a lot so doing it more before Iggy's injury could have helped prepare them for now when they need to run a traditional 5.

Bah!!! Dude’s choked in the biggest moment of his entire career, save that monster close out game last round.

You gotta feel good tied at the half after an early emotional boost at the beginning for the Rox.

Sure but you have to GET to the next round for that to matter. Iggy is the key to their defense against the Rockets he can basically guard 1-5. You see all these switches with Looney on Paul or Harden, if Iggy is playing, that's not there because Looney isn't in the game. Looney has been terrific on defense btw but he's not Iggy and offensively he's not the playmaker that Iggy is either. He's had controlled minutes all year and all playoffs, it was just a fluke injury.

I love McGee but he doesn't have a role in this series, he can't guard any of the Rockets in iso. I said in game 1 I thought West might be valuable in this series but he's barely played until tonight, for the same reason, Kerr doesn't think he can guard anybody the way the Rockets play.

Basically with iggy out the Warriors need Livingston and Young to step up, they were both like -14 in the last game, tonight about break even.

The good news is Klay finally got going a bit, he'd had only 5 points in 3 quarters since hurting that knee before he 5 in the 2nd quarter.

No one is this time of year.

Except LeBron... who is somehow 200%... at 33.

I’m not saying he’s juicing like you seem to heavily believe, but if it came out he was, it wouldn’t surprise me. He’s like the Universal Soldier of the NBA at this point!

The NBA is in REALLY good shape right now. These two teams are fantastic, you’ve got LeBron and two young rising dynasties in the East with Boston and Philly.

And US when we take Ayton!

With LeBron it just seems whenever they have a long break between games he comes back like Superman. I know he's got this amazing personal regimen he goes through but you gotta wonder if part of it comes in pill form.

Never get why they don't run more pick and roll with Steph and Durant or Steph and Klay, it's so hard to defend when both guys are knockdown shooters. They ran it a few minutes ago and got Klay a wide open 3, i swear they get an open shot everytime they do it.

These refs are just awful. clean block by Gordon called a foul. Paul totally out of control steps out of bounds they call a foul on Durant who had his left foot on the end line. And then that crazy foul on Ariza, he clearly didn't foul Durant, if anything he hooked West setting the screen but Durant pushed him into the screen. I get it's not easy to ref but some of these calls are just atrocious

And he's 100% right, I love durant but he still at times hasn't totally bought into the Warriors style. As Kerr said ISO in the last 10 seconds of the clock absolutely, but early in the clock look for other guys. It was ahuge problem in game 4 in the fourth quarter he did that way too much.
