Starting Igudola was a mistake, IMO. Everyone knew they'd got with the "Hampton 5" lineup for a good portion of the Rockets series but keeping up a consistency and chemistry with a typical starting 5, either with McGee, Pachulia, or Looney would have helped keep the wear on AI down and it also would have allowed them to rest their other starter a little more by having him as an option to sub in early for anyone, rather than how their substitution pattern has been, which has been inconsistent and lacking a pattern really.
I could have seen going with that starting 5 later in the series if they fell behind but if this gets drug out to 7 games, I think how they used Iggy will be a factor in it being stretched out.

With Durant balling, if Curry keeps heating up, GS is gonna roll unless CP3 starts hitting.
Houston came out with all emotion and should have a much larger lead right now.
DAMN WHAT A BLOCK BY CAPELLA!
CP3 is no showing strong tonight.
So Iggy bumping knees with Harden was because he started?
Anybody who's ever played knows bumping knees happens and it hurts like hell, but it has nothing to do with minutes played. It was a fluke play that happened. It's just showing how valuable Iggy is to the Warriors, especially against the Rockets.
Of course it would help if they could get to the FT line, 19 attemps in the last 6 quarters, they have to get to the rim and draw more fouls
Gotta be his foot or ankle or whatever is hurt. There was a play at the end of the half where he got caught on a screen by Draymond, grabbed on, fell down and then tripped Draymond. They called the foul and Draymond went 1-2 but I was thinking more about his lack of balance it has to be the injury. It wasn't some abnormal screen he just didn't have the lateral movement to get around Green so he grabbed him and eventually tripped him
It's not the injury as much as the chemistry. The injury happened, it can't be avoided, but they could have been building more consistency and familiarity with others by staying with a more traditional lineup. The only team that Hampton 5 lineup was going to be used a lot against was the Rockets. They'll be more prepared for the next round using a real big like Pachulia, Javale, or Looney.
Also at Iggy's age, I wouldn't play him more than I needed to. He's vital to the Warriors 2nd unit and losing him hurts them a lot. Hopefully he'll be fine but now they need to play with a more traditional lineup anyways with him injured and that isn't something they threw at Houston a lot so doing it more before Iggy's injury could have helped prepare them for now when they need to run a traditional 5.
Bah!!! Dude’s choked in the biggest moment of his entire career, save that monster close out game last round.
You gotta feel good tied at the half after an early emotional boost at the beginning for the Rox.
Oh I hate the guy but you can see he's not 100%.
No one is this time of year.
Except LeBron... who is somehow 200%... at 33.
I’m not saying he’s juicing like you seem to heavily believe, but if it came out he was, it wouldn’t surprise me. He’s like the Universal Soldier of the NBA at this point!
Chris Paul does the Steph Shimmy after hitting that off balance 3
Cool moment there with Kerr talking to durant about what mj was doing in a similar situation durant finds himself in tonight
