There were rumblings last week about Arizona defenceman Aaron Ness potentially having COVID-19. Per agent Neil Sheehy, "Aaron tested NEGATIVE for Coronavirus."
The #Coyotes announced that Alex Meruelo and Gila River Arena have partnered to pay employees who were affected by the suspension of the NHL season in the wake of coronavirus. I'm told this is full pay for all games scheduled. Good news.
The release said the team and/or arena will "support the arena's part-time and hourly employees previously scheduled to work," "support all Club part-time and hourly employees" and "pay all Tucson Roadrunners part-time employees."
“We pride ourselves on treating all our staff and players like they are part of our family,” Alex Meruelo said in a statement. “I value my team members and am committed to making sure that everyone remains safe, secure and part of our great team."

Correction: It's not clear to what extent employees will be paid for lost wages but it is, per a spokesperson, "significant."
John Chayka, in response to @AEKinkopf asking him to walk through the decision to donate 20% of his and Ahron Cohen's salaries, points again to following examples being set and wanting to show those hard at work on the front lines how much they're appreciated.
