Jays are still talking to teams about closer Ken Giles who’s having a terrific year but wasn’t used last night due to what’s thought to be a minor elbow issue.

Nats looking to add not one but two pen guys if they can, preferably 1 being lefthanded. They look like a threat ... especially if they can tighten up the pen.

I'm told by a source it's still "doubtful" that the Giants trade Bumgarner, and are more likely to make an incremental addition or two rather than being sellers

Braves have shown some interest in Yasiel Puig, one of many OF available. They do not, however, appear engaged on Reyes, Castellanos, Dyson or Peralta.

Reds are keeping Bauer, not flipping him. If they do make playoffs, they have great front 3 with also Castillo and Gray. Roark and Wood could still go in trade.

Padres/Noah talk hasn’t been killed entirely but feels like a long shot. Mets want both major league pieces and prospects (can’t blame them; team has 2 years control with him, 1 more than Bauer) and still wants to compete.
