Wow. Ben Simmons. 6-10 athletic player whose team is down 2 with three minutes left in game 7 and he passes up a wide open layup.

Boris Diaw would do this occasionally but Simmons seems to have a bigger problem shooting the ball.

It's completely mental. I have seen him in open runs against NBA players in the offseason and he is draining threes and post up fadeaways. Something about the pressure of a real game completely removes any courage to take those shots.

And it also carries over to free throws as well. I'm guessing the coaching staff has given him the green light to shoot. At this point I'd be surprised if everything hasn't been tried.

In this series Philly blew an 18 point lead and 26 point lead. What part of that falls on Doc? Of the 8 biggest blown leads in playoffs Doc has coached 5 or something like that.

6 times a Doc team has blown either a 3-1 or 3-2 series lead.

He’s proven time and time again don’t matter if it’s Orlando, LA or Philly when things start going back he can’t make adjustments.

his playoff record is down right embarrassing.

I think Doc is a great coach. He just seems to be better in the regular season than the playoffs. Who does that remind you of? It's one thing to scheme. It's another to make in game adjustments when it becomes a chess match. Doc is a better checker player than a chess player IMO.

The NBA Draft Lottery is tomorrow. I haven't heard much talk about it with the Suns drafting #29.

remember when that night used to be the biggest night of the season for us? I can’t tell you how happy I am that I had no clue when the lottery was this year.

Yeah. I remember well and it's a welcome change.

And during the summer months I would start doing individual threads for each player in the draft to keep busy...

Steven A Smith is saying repeatedly this morning that Philly should trade Simmons for McCollumn.

Does this dude not learn. That is almost as bad of a lop sided trade as Booker for Kuzma. The A hole really thinks small market teams should willingly destroy themselves for big market teams.

No team in their right mind should want Simmons for any price. The only trade that I can think of that might be possible is Porzingas for Simmons. There just aren't any other contracts as bad as his.

His A-List had me cracking up a bit. On number 1…KARMA lol

Irving went to work when he felt like it
Griffin stole money from the pistons

Was a good one because not of the karma but that team is composed of some selfish guys and he was right when he said they didn’t buy into the concept and want to put in the work.

not to mention what harden did to the rockets organization.

I'm not sure if Karma is real or not, but I sure as heck know I am glad they lost, because they represent everything that is wrong with the NBA IMO.

yup. and we actually represent everything good with the NBA. I can't tell you how many friends who are fans of other teams keep telling me they're rooting for us, or that "such a fun team"... even two of my Laker friends are all in on us.

The standouts last night were Booker, Ayton, and Bridges, and Cam Johnson had some big moments as well. All drafted by the Suns, all growing together, and they won with CP in a different state. Couldn’t be more different than the Nets.

Just base this out of my friends and their friends who are Laker fans but seems like they hate the Clippers so its natural they would side with us.

Karma, imo, is really just a spiritual way of saying for every action there is a reaction. Those that want to have their cake and eat it too, in this situation.

In some way I wish it could be us vs the Nets in the finals. Seems we would get more support. Plus I am not a huge fan of super teams and if we could win one over them it would be a slap in the face.

Later on in the show SAS stated he'd just heard from a source or two in Portland that they have no interest in Ben Simmons.

But someone will bite, the guy is only 24 and is a 3 time all star, twice on the first team all NBA defense and runner up this past season for DPOY. His contract is a little scary but at least it's not a super max.

That's gotto be a carry the way he holds the ball between bounces.
