I don't think Fotu will start. The Cardinals brought in Watkins and Strong who are both capable NFL linemen.

I have to admit that when I looked back to check, I was surprised by his very modest production in 2022.

I'll modify my previous statement to "If Lawrence can stay healthy, I think he'll be an average starting NFL DT"

Last year watching him in (limited) action, I thought he got some good push from the NT spot. He's young, and has the size and athleticism. Was a team leader and hard worker at LSU, but, wait for it.. had injury concerns from the draft scouts who observed him.

2023 is a big year for him, so I guess we'll see. I understand if people are skeptical.

I agree but I’m starting to wonder if scheme contributes to having more or less injuries in a given team.

Are players in a given scheme being asked to do things which exposes them to a greater risk of injuries?

I would argue the more plausible explanation is that professional sports puts a rare amount of stress and wear on the body, and not everyone's body and/or mind is built to withstand it.
