I had a bad feeling when I heard this. The timing in relation to Sarver's ordeal will likely keep the focus off him and help it die out if no more serious allegations come out from the NBA investigation.

Wouldn't it be funny, emboldened by the report on Sarver and the Suns, if 28 more franchises came under scrutiny?

Go figure, Bobby Sarver is bringing about change in the NBA world. Its just not a way he ever would have wanted.

If it comes down to the nitty-gritty, it's much easier to fire a president than replace an owner.

This photo makes me want to vomit on so many levels. Old man, no sense of self respect or dignity that should go with being a team owner. The players used to call Cola gelo "Mr. Colangelo". That is a name that still commands respect around the league. This guy is a buffoon.

Too dad Bryan didn't get his fathers wisdom.

Seriously even guys like Barkley still refer to JC as Mr. Colangelo when he talks about him. I think that's bothered Bobby for quite some time and could play into how he tries to be "one of the guys". He wants to be accepted and endeared but has no idea how someone actually becomes accepted and how the wealth and power disparity makes it next to impossible for that to happen, regardless of how hard he tries. Plus it would never happen since he wants it both ways, to be one of the guys while also being revered and respected ala Jerry Colangelo. You can't have it both ways, it's hard enough to even get it one of those ways.

I haven't watched an entire Dallas game yet but I've seen highlights on the NBA channel from each of them and it appears to me that they're allowing Doncic to play by different rules. For example he won a game last night on an incredible 3 but it was clear that he used his forearm to push off for separation.

I've seen Harden and Donovan Mitchell and Booker and several other players get called for it but I've seen at least 3 Luka push-offs this season that haven't been called. If it's a point of emphasis, it needs to apply across the board.

Back issues are why MPJ slipped in the draft. Teams knew that it would likely plague him his entire career.

The story has been rather quiet in the media but it's expected MPJ could miss several games.

There was a detailed story in the Denver Post but it was behind a pay wall. Of course if he misses considerable time, the Nuggets paying him the max will get a lot of coverage.

If you aren't already you need to watch the Hawks and Warriors game tonight it is off the chain as the cool kids say.

65-61 Hawks at the half and both teams are actually playing defense the offense is just too good. Trae has 21 and 7 assists, he has the best floater I think I've ever seen. Steph has 24 and 4 and would have had more but he's had to sit twice to ice his left shoulder because he fell hard on it.

My new hero GP 2 is now guarding Trae and he got under his skin quite a bit, they had 2 closeups of Trae pushing Payton until the ref finally warned him not to.

The one complaint is the refs are just terrible. In transition GP2 has Trae sealed, Draymond throws the hit ahead it's a dunk for sure except Trae just falls down and the ref falls for it and calls the foul on GP2. A minute later Steph drives, leans into Huerter and falls down, foul on Huerter 2 free throws.

Atlanta is only 4-6 but they made the conf finals last year and they look like they can be really good again. I figure until Okongwu gets back from injury the key for Atlanta is Capela, they get offense from Galinari but they need Capela to play defense. He sure looks like he's older than 27 he's so much less athletic than he used to be.

Really fun game to watch though

Yeah that was a cheap shot by Morris but Jokic isn't doing himself any favors by retaliating like that. Any team in the league would jump at the chance to take Jokic out of the game for the low, low cost of a Morris. Any Morris.

The 3rd quarter magic is back. 102-85 Warriors after 3. Curry with 42, 18 in the quarter. The last 3 minutes was a massacre they finished the quarter 19-3 with Curry just destroying Huerter. Hit a 3 on him, then stole the ball from him Huerter got mad and fouled him 2 FT's, next time down Curry goes behind his back stops Huerter knocks him down 2 more FT's. end the quarter with Curry drawing 2 hitting JTA who ripped the 3.

Trae has 28, the Hawks made a huge mistake they tried to get a little extra rest for him and Collins at the end of the quarter and paid for it.

amazing the Warriors were down 15 late in the 2nd

10 minutes left Curry has 45, 10 assists and 6 boards. Has a chance for a triple double with fifty.

This is also just one clip. You don't know how many hacks Morris did before this in the game. That retaliation looked like Jokic was tired of taking shots.

Harden had 60 points, 10 boards, and 11 assists 3 years ago.

(Highest scoring triple-double)

Crazy - he has 5 with over 50 points.

steph came up short 50, 10 and 7 boards.

My man crush on GP2 continues, Trae Young had 28 through 3 and finished the game with....28 because GP 2 locked him down. Fouled out doing it but locked him down.
