Kobe and Steph were both #1's who took on #2 roles. Davis can't be more than a #2. He can't lead a team anywhere on his own.
Davis was a 1 who took on a 2 role aswell. We found out he was a 2 disguised as a 1 eventually but he was thought of as a top 5 guy in the league
Kobe didn’t become a 1 until Shaq left. Shaq was the most unstoppable force in basketball for that 3peat

But we all knew Kobe could be a #1 without shaq. They were 1a (shaq) and 1b (Kobe). Davis is a 1 on a bad team. On a contender he’s definitely a 2.
Best shooter? Best overall show to watch? Yes. Best player? That's debatable. I think you could argue a handful of guys for sure.
Lonzo Ball is really good. He’s developed nice. The Lakers let a lot of good players go

And Kobe was the second most unstoppable force in year 2 and 3 they won the title.
Davis was a super weak 1 at best. He never struck me as THE guy who you could build a consistent contender around.

I brought up the Curry topic since it was on one of the nba shows on wednesday i think.
Also on FB guys were claiming him to be the best player since he's ranked 5th in defense, which i dont buy into too much considering who've they played and who's he had to guard.

I love it when thinks take care of themselves. Cavs down multiple starters end the 3rd quarter up 13. At the start of the 4th Steph comes in and as he's walking over to take his spot, Okoro from Cleveland who's been guarding him all night and "held" him to 20 point says something. Steph just smiles. Cleveland gets a shot clock violation then Warriors get the ball, Steph hits a 28 footer lead is 10. Cleveland doesn't score, Steph hits a 24 footer lead is 7. Another stop Steph hits a 27 footer lead is 4. 2 layups by Damion Lee where they use Steph as a decoy and we're tied. Warriors eventually take the lead and win, Steph puts up 20 in the 4th, 40 for the game.
Steph didn't say anything but after the game the Warriors postgame show asked Draymond about it and he just laughed and said "I would guess he learned a lesson tonight."
Darius Garland has gotten really good, I remember his dad Winston played for the Warriors, Darius is better. They didn't have Sexton, Mobley, Jarrett Allen etc so they actually played a really good game but just ran out of steam in the 4th when Steph went nuts.

So it looks like The Abdominal Strainman will play tonight against the Celtics. That is such huge, earth shattering news - which I'm sure is evident to anyone that watches NBA on ESPN.

Lol. No. Booker isn’t even the best player on his own team, much less top 3 in the league.

Booker is a top 3 Shooting Guard but that's as high as he goes. I can easily think of 3 guards better than him but they're all PG's, Steph, Lillard, and Paul.
Booker is right there with Beal and Mitchell for top 3 SG's. Harden has really been exposed by the FT rule change and his conditioning doesn't help either. I'd put Book ahead of him now, especially since Book isn't a turnstile on defense anymore.

All the Celtics have to do is drive the middle for easy baskets. Also the Lakers don't box out on rebounds.
