I noticed it was a Lakers home game as well. It doesn't appear the Lakers have enough to carry them without Lebron. The Lakers could be a play-in team again.

It’s easy to look at Westbrook and say he’s the problem but all he’s doing is being Russell Westbrook. You knew that when you traded for him. Did they think he was going to turn into Steve Nash

That entire team is a disaster. I’m looking at Anthony Davis who is just super passive and not vocal. His voice is getting ran over. Carmelo is not good and DeAndre Jordan is bad. The coaching is beyond bad.

Derozan said he would of taken a pay cut to play in LA where he grew up. He playing great in Chicago so is Caruso.

Heild is a sniper, Trez is playing well. Schroeder is getting 16/4/5 and he’s playing well.

They could of really built a good team but instead they went after guys who had big names because that’s what Lebron likes

But I must say I love it

I never said Russ is to blame, Im a Westbrook fan. Whoever thought he'd be a good fit there is to blame. Like you said, Russ is being Russ and he's the only reason they've won a couple of games so far because LeBron has been out and Davis is made of glass. It was a bad trade for LA. Russ needs to be the man to be most effective, similar to Nash in that they both need to be the primary ball handlers but other than that they're completely different players.

That Westbrook trade was bad. Not only does Russ not fit well with the Lakers but they lost 3 key rotation guys in KCP, Kuzma, and Trez. Washington is getting a lot from those guys right now and have the best record in the East. They also added Dinwiddie who seems to be a much better PG for their system, getting everyone going rather than just Beal.

I think the Lakers didn't use Montrez Harrell properly and I'm glad they didn't. The same with Kuzma. I've always like both players and thought they would be more productive on another team.

It’s nitpicking but the Warriors could have this team plus Franz Wagner right now. @Russ Smith

hard to say how he'd be doing with the Warriors too. Kuminga is playing a bit, Wagner obviously more skilled offensively but the thing everyone loves about Kuminga is he can already guard NBA players, Wagner's defense is frankly surprising he's much better than I think anybody expected so he'd probably fit there too but he wouldn't be playing as much.

he is very similar to Bjelica though and Bjelica is huge for the Warriors. a guy did a breakdown on the Payton dunks and he said the key to the whole thing is almost all of the lobs happen with Bjelica in. Because he's in the opposing 5 is not in the paint and it allows them to scheme the lobs for Payton. If Looney is in, or later on Wiseman, that doesn't work because the 5 is in the paint on defense.

Wagner is really good though.

Carolina killing me, Panthers beat the Cards and now it looks like Hornets beat the Warriors.

Down 2 they tied up Rozier force a jump ball at half court Draymond and Rozier, the ref makes a terrible toss, Rozier bumps Draymond so he can't jump, Draymonds trick, and steals the tip and then gets fouled to go up 4.

Game over

That was a ugly 4th QT I didn't realize the Hornets could play defense

Yeah Warriors couldn't buy a 3 but Charlotte had something to do with it. And Looney bricked 2 FT's that would have tied it up

Looney is a good player but he cant hit FT's it was a good foul. If Charlotte can get P.J. Washington to come back and play big it will help. This kid Jalen Mcdaniels is the one everyone is talking about, Hornets might have found a center with him. Nice second round pick their.

Lotta injuries for that young guy so early in his career. Sucks.

Yeah it’s unfortunate. Him and Reddish both have been either hurt/inconsistent. One of those guys will be gone next year. I don’t see them keeping both based on who they’ve already signed/locked up.

The Suns and Warriors have played the two easiest schedules so far:
-
Didn’t realize it did the warriors, but seemed obvious about the suns. I think we’ve played 3 games against teams that had won a single game when we played them.

So they trained/ worked out randomly? They should be rewarded, not punished. This is ridiculous!

I'm guessing the NBA is laying the groundwork knowing they could be handing down more severe penalties in the ongoing tampering investigation, the Portland situation and the Suns/Sarver investigation. I suspect they do not want to appear weak in enforcing rules.

Bulls putting on a dunk fest all game. Loving it.

I’m going to be honest, I grew up on WGN a station in Chicago because that’s all we had and watched the bulls all the time back until the 93 suns. Hasn’t been this fun to watch them in years.

AD tossed. Said something to the refs. His shoe fell off and and they continued play.

Between the Lakers and Rams getting crushed tonight, LA sports radio should be glorious tomorrow.

LA is hilarious. The Rams are the biggest story in the NFL and Anthony Davis getting ejected and being a soft B-I-T-C-H will dominate the talk shows. Can’t knock their Laker love.

Dude, the Rams were an after thought during Super Bowl week back when they played the Pats four years ago.

No one here cares about football unless USC is rolling.

Good thing the NFL has two teams here...
