might be good enough to win conference championship. There's a lot of hope in that take though Chief I'm sure you'll agree. But it might be. Brown and Wilson so fragile though. Damn.
Maybe? I'd still feel better with a better #2, though.

I’d still like to replace Brown with a bigger receiver. He is one dimensional and certainly not a #1 and maybe never was.

Browns stock is pretty low right now, understood Slan.

I guess I think it's fair to ask Murray to elevate Brown to be a capable #2. To put enough throws right on him so that he can catch 80 for 1,000 in 2024. I think it's possible and perhaps even a reasonable plan, but I understand if you are skeptical.

And of course if there's a better option than Brown for the same money, then I'm with you 100%, let's pull the trigger. Nothing personal against Hollywood, whom I think is okay, just business.

I dont remember somebody being critic about his selection , it was a positiin of need too ,we knew he was considered a good receiver but with weakness in blocking, but every best tigh end have their strenght as receiver and then they improve the other aspect of the game, difficult viceversa

I went back and read this thread from the beginning. There were plenty of people who were not happy with this pick, primarily because it was not perceived to be a position of need at the time with MAXX and ERTZ on the roster.

McBride is under appreciated in this offense. He is key for us. The position itself is under appreciated.

People always complaining wbout every subject
Probably pass rusher was a major need but ...
The old Ertz and the injured max williams were not the answers long term
Was a position of need

On this board no one pick has had universal satisfaction not even MHJ.

Its not unusual, most of the time we aren’t sold on the position regardless of the who at a given pick.

Just play Trey…

Trey rushed for a TD.

It's the first time a Cardinals TE has had a running score since Hall of Famer Jackie Smith in 1968.
I do believe that McBride will be a star for us for years to come. But, as an old time Cardinal fan, I’m not ready to put him in the same category as Jackie Smith. At least not yet. Trey has (3) 100 yard receiving games. Jackie Smith had 22. Just wow! But, as someone that watched both, McBride reminds me so much of Smith in many ways.
