I have a box which had 32 cigars, each labeled with a team’s logo; if I see the Cardinals win at that team, in-person, it gets smoked. 17 down, 15 to go — with three road opportunities (MIN/DEN/ATL) for me next year. Will also try to make the game in Vegas to complete all 30 current stadiums.

I love the schedule from a season ticket holder's home games perspective. Seeing the Bucs with Tom Brady; the Chiefs with Mahomes, Belichick and his Patriots, Herbert with the Chargers also the Saints, Eagles and our divisions foes. Great enjoyment for the fans plus only one preseason home game and 9 regular season games. Forget this season's records as everything starts anew every year..

Man, those are going to be some old-ass cigars by the time they get smoked!

That schedule certainly looks tough. Things change every year, but those are some pretty solid organizations. I'm not sure I see a whole lot of collapsing going on.

We really need to improve in order to stay in the hunt. Standing pat, or failing to replace the people we might lose with superior talent is a recipe for disaster.

If we can get 10-11 wins and get a playoff spot with that schedule we know for sure that GM, HC, DC and QB are ready to win a SB.

The Cardinals were expected to have the T-13th hardest schedule in 2021, based on 2020 records (138-134, .507). In reality (based on my own calculations - couldn't find the data anywhere online!) it turned out their opponents this year had a record of 141-147-1 (.490), ranking 20th hardest. The Chiefs were #1 (.538), followed by the Giants (!), Ravens, Football Team, and Lions. Easiest were the Dolphins (.464), Buccaneers, and Eagles.

Based on 2021 records, the Cards are expected to have the 2nd hardest schedule in 2022 at 157-132-0 (.543), behind the Rams' slate of 164-125-0 (.567). The 49ers are 5th (0.533) and Seahawks 11th (0.517). So the Cards aren't at a terrible disadvantage relative to the rest of the NFC West.

Indeed! It took me over 20 years to get this far. Even if I had gone to every Cardinals road game since 1920, the Broncos cigar would still remain!

The cigars do get changed out, and I can always print new labels for when logos change. Nonetheless, as the number remaining dwindles, I will make extra effort to knock out those remaining, especially in the AFC which come once every 8 years.
