Remember the year we drafted Kyler and we have #1 on waivers and were going to add all these decent players?

The guys we claimed were Jeff Holland, Brett Toth, Justin Murray, Jonathan Bullard, Kevin Peterson, Charles Washington.

And that was with #1. This is the most I ever recall us doing.
Heh Charles Washington was the best of that bunch. Kevin Peterson is among the worst corners I've seen the Cardinals play. Justin Murray had his moments, but couldn't stay healthy.

I mean, it seems like we signed six players and we didn't have a front office or coaching staff with broad relationships across the NFL.

But maybe our experienced staff and worse roster actually makes it less likely we claim players. That makes a lot of sense.

Yes, we should definitely claim lots of players of that calibre...

If we do Monti/Gannon are worse than I thought.

You don't churn the roster just before the season starts and lose a bunch of guys you just spent teaching the scheme to for a bunch of guys that have no clue. Unless they are guys that played for Gannon and Petzing before and know the system.

I hope, at best, it's 2-3 players. We need more depth at RB, Safety and CB.

I don’t think we are going to see 10 guys brought in but I think we will see a couple of d-linemen, a safety and a cb if available.

If you're not prioritizing winning, you're better off bringing in more talented players than the ones you've got and seeing if you can pick up multi-year deals with no guarantees. A lot of positions are just plug and play in most systems.

Drew Petzing's play sheet for Saturday's game was the size of two business cards taped together. The churn in the roster on the second or third teams isn't going to impact the team we see much.
Johnny Venerable said he heard a week ago the team was going to churn the roster with about 8 to 10 guys.

Clement gone...I wonder if they are gonna look at a waiver RB, cuz outside Conner and Keontay, I really don't see anyone else making a case for 3rd RB.
