O'Neill, who fumbled two passes in the final minute, ruining any potential chance Nets had.
That was bad but I'd still lay the blame on Claxton's stupidity. An obvious taunt towards perhaps the most protected player in the game? That's stupidity on steroids.

36% from the field 7-12 from the FT line and the Warriors are up 9. This was sort of what I was hoping without Draymond they'd just play their butts off to make up for him not being there. Pretty impressive the Warriors 2 best defenders, Draymond and GP2 are not playing. Great first half for Wiggins. Now if we can just make some shots.

Sac has the right idea they know the Warriors are small without Draymond so they're attacking the rim.

Just once I want to see them call Sabonis for a walk on his handoff play. catches the ball in transition holds the ball in his left hand still moving and goes to hand it off to Fox. Wiggins hustles so they can't get the hand off, by now Sabonis has taken 3 steps and is still just palming the ball in his left hand and walking forward and they don't call it.

Davion Mitchell is just an incredible on ball defender, when he's in he's guarding Steph, when he's out they're doubling Steph, playing a box and one, throwing everything at him but when it's Mitchell it's just him 1 on 1.

Sabonis is lost tonight without Draymond to clash with. he's on the bench right now arguing with teammate Davion Mitchell because Sabonis didn't pick up Steph in transition and Steph hit a 3. You could see Mitchell say something about you've been doing that all bleeping night because Sabonis was blaming Mitchell who had actually picked up Sabonis' man in transition.

Poor Keegan Murray he's got Steve Sax syndrome. 3rd straight bad game, he's passing up wide open shots now, no confidence. Just got a gimme layup when a Warrior mistimed his jump on the rebound and the ball fell right to Murray, and he missed the layup and then hung his head.

Kevin Looney with 4 points 20 rebounds and 9 assists. Who need Draymond I guess.

Loon was brilliant. At least 3 times he got an offensive board and passed it out for a made 3.

Nick Nurse has been fired by Toronto. Really surprised he was there 5 years, doesn't seem like it was that long.

I think they underperformed after their title win.

Don't tell any of the Monty doubters that he is available.

I know he is the guy a lot of people want here if we move on from Monty, but watching some of the Raptors games late in the year took the shine off him for me.

His players had completlely checked out on him, there is no way a roster with that talent should have been that bad. Vanvleet was showing open disdain for him.

I am not going to get into defending Monty right now, I am just not sure Nurse is any better, or that anyone else out there who would be available would be any better.

Doc Rivers mad about the incident with Claxton and Embiid said the NBA has to do something about teams "intentionally goading star players to get them to retalite." Rivers then said people will get mad but Draymond shouldn't have been tossed out of the game, Sabonis caused that and got exactly what he wanted to, Draymond kicked out and suspended.

I think the suspension was deserved but I do agree that teams are doing this on purpose with players they know have a short fuse.

Of course the way they played last night the Warriors might be better off without Draymond

I wouldn't suspend him. And if Draymond had just stepped on Sabonis I wouldn't have suspended him either. No matter what punishment they give Embiid though, Claxton deserved the same for being the instigator. In fact, I'd support going even harder after the instigator than the player who responds - as long as there is no attempt to injure like with Draymond. That changes everything.

Doc Rivers is a busy guy. I suspect all he saw was the damning still photo where it appeared that Domantas intentionally locked him up or he just watched one of the replays and missed the view that shows that Greene actually tried to stomp on him, not just walk on him.

As for doing this on purpose, I'm sure it happens a lot. Whether that was the case in this incident, I just don't know. I certainly wouldn't put it past Sabonis.

Steph Curry hit 6 shots last night 28 feet or longer, which is an NBA playoff record.

I didn't see what the previous record is but 6 in one game is crazy, guys make shots that deep regularly now, Lillard, Trae etc but 6 in one game is insane.

Keep in mind Adam Silver said Draymond's history played a part in the suspension. It wasn't just about one play.

He kicked him, clearly on purpose, in the groin-- and with less provocation. Good grief. If Draymond got suspended, Embiid surely should. The only difference is that Claxton did not roll on the ground and pretend to be injured.

I'll have to watch it again, it didn't look like all that much when I first saw it and unlike the Kings game all I saw was a few recap videos. I find it difficult to believe though that the kick came with anywhere near the force that Draymond delivered to the chest of Sabonis. Like I've said, it's the obvious attempt to injure that I take issue with on Draymond's actions.

Good point but AFAIC the only reason Embiid doesn't have that same kind of history is the treatment he gets. He's one of the fakest and dirtiest players in the history of the game. I didn't think he did all that much on this specific play but I'll have to watch it again to see what I missed - when I initially watched it I thought it looked more like he kicked towards the genitals rather than kicked him in the balls.

Like I said, I need to see it again, it didn't look that bad to me at first watch. But regardless I disagree on the provocation. Claxton made a conscious choice to step over him and I see no way to argue otherwise. There is room for argument on what Sabonis actually did. Did he lock him up, some say he did but I just don't think so. But if I'm wrong and he intentionally grabbed ahold of him for any reason other than self-protection, I'd do the same to him as I would Greene.

This is where I am as well.

Now, if the Suns had a deeper bench to go with their starters, it would be easier to evaluate, but IMO the bench is weakly constructed.

If you guys watch the Nuggets game tonight, try to keep an eye on KAT as much as possible.

They gotta dump him in the off season, he is terrible as a PF. He has his warts as a center too, but is probably a net positive in most games, I don't think he gets there as a PF. I'm not sure where I'd rank him but I know he'd be pretty damn low. I have little doubt I can come up with 20 guys who are playing the position that I'd take over him in a heart beat.
