Booker will be the #1 slot in a few years or sooner…
This is only through the first 43 games. This isn't a comparison of their entire careers. That stat is a bit misleading -- it just measures total points through the first 43 games of all their careers, not their total points overall. If he continues to be consistent in this area, by the end of his career he might be able to stay at that 8th spot until he retires.

Lebron has over 8,000 playoff points in his career. That's a big hill to climb. Book has hit 1200 in 3 years. Even at that rate, he'd have to play another 18 years at the same efficiency to pass LBJ.

It's actually a confusing stat and I kind of regret posting it.

Did someone message Espo on PHNX asking if he posted in message boards?

Did he say something? That would be funny. We mention they steal talking points from here and then he's like "I don't post anywhere" a week later.

Probably re-living the year that he eliminated NMSU from the NCAA tournament. :-(

They’re a little flat for me. Color is cool though. I guess I’d wear them to a game (money pending lol)

They look more like a casual shoe I would wear to the mall which is a plus for me. I understand they come in four different colors. I'd probably want purple if this is correct.

Lol man.. you guys making me feel old with shoe talk. Just like talking to my young coworkers.

My shoes and outfits are whatever is on sale at Costco.

I still wear Converse All-Stars. Paying more than $50 is crazy to me.

However looking up info on the Book shoe I found this, which kind of makes me want them...

"Booker gave the design team a few silhouettes as starting points, such as the Air Force 1, the Blazer and the AJ1. Design inspiration also came from one of his restored cars: his ’72 Chevy Blazer K5, a blue beauty he nicknamed “Uncle Larry” and turned into a low-rider. It’s LS-swapped, he says, so the original engine is replaced by a modern, high-performance one. He preserved the car’s original patina, so it has a vintage exterior. High-tech on the inside. Classic on the outside.

"Using insights from Booker and young hoopers around the world, the Nike Book 1 offers athletes a tailored combination of lateral stability, cushioning, and responsiveness underfoot. To accomplish this, Nike design teams stacked a Cushlon 2.0 foam midsole with a rigid TPU sidewall for added support, with a top-loaded Nike Zoom air bag in the heel.

"On the outside, a workwear-inspired canvas and twill upper adds durability, while a suede collar and genuine leather across the forefoot provide more reinforcement and a familiar, plush, broken-in feel. The pull tab at the heel was inspired by a book spine, with numbers referencing chapters in an ongoing story."

I was not very enthused about the first picture of the black ones, but these surprisingly look pretty comfortable. I do like having ankle support, so we'll have to see how that works out.

I only wear Nikes for athletic shoes. Those Booker ones look great.

I'm really interested in seeing the other color designs. I believe there's supposed to be 4 different colors available. There's no way I could do the orange unless I started volunteering as a crossing guard at my nieces school. I'd imagine there will be a purple also and those could be really nice.
