Getting anything of value for Chris Paul and Landry Shamet is a good thing but the Suns will need to find a starting point guard somewhere. D'Angelo Russell is looking better and better.
Maybe to you - not to me. I don't want him under any circumstances.

KAT can be goofy/annoying BUT he actually plays like he cares unlike DA. Im pretty sure that Book/KD can fix his tude
I don't know. Trading Ayton for KAT seems somewhat equal - but actually DA gives us more of what we need than he does on the defensive end, so I don't see the point.

We need to turn Ayton into multiple useful players if we are trading him.

For me, it would hopefully be more like how the Warriors used D'Angelo Russell to take another step later on, e.g., adding Wiggins.

He's just as delusional as Ayton, if not more so. Trading one problem for a larger problem is no solution.

There is the king of front running losers proclaiming that winning a play in game was more impressive than winning the NBA title.

On this same podcast he claims that people are going to remember him as a guy that changed the NBA.

We mock the "DominAYTON" silliness... Towns takes the lack of self awareness to a whole new level.

Also worth noting, in that play in game Towns shot 3-11, had 5 boards and 4 turnovers, Minnesota only managed to comeback and win that game after Towns fouled himself out with 8 minutes to go.
Ok that video is ridiculous.

I think a change of scenery will help both him and Ayton, but maybe they are just goofy enough I could be wrong.

Kellan Olson has had some awful trade proposals over the last few days.

Today: Cp3/Shamet for Tobias Harris. barf

Yesterday it was Rozier and filler. barf

I think he takes careful consideration of looking at the trade from the other team's viewpoint. Most of the trades we've seen discussed this offseason have been pretty ridiculous homer trades that overvalue Ayton and CP3.

Yeah, but when he proposed starting Patrick Beverley, I quit reading.

I hate Pat Bev, but I think we would get a kick out of him if he played for us a la Danny Ainge. People forget how big of a pr!ck he was against us on Portland.

I have to respect Pat Bev's heart especially when we have a heartless player like DA. You can say he's dirty, but he'd fit right in to the 80s and 90s era NBA.

Nah, he plays hard but is also dirty as hell. You can play hard without playing dirty! The league is better without Pat Bev.

Even if one mildly entertained it after him bashing Booker in the head and knocking down Chris Paul, his playing career is over.

I think his best years are behind him for sure, but if JJ thought he made our roster stronger, I wouldn't hate it. But I don't think he can contribute at this point in his career.

Looking for opportunities to hurt people should not be confused with playing hard.

Pat Bev's antics would've went unnoticed in the 80s and 90s.

Again. I don't want him on the team, but if he could help us win our first championship I could stomach it.

That's a big if. And IF we sign him and he ends up being crap, we'll feel much worse about his acquisition.

Say no to Pat Bev.

Disagree. There is a difference between playing physical, like a lot of guys in the 80s and 90s, and deliberately trying to injure people.

John Starks was dirty, he tried to hurt people… Pat Bev is worse.

Beverley is as dirty as any player ever.

That's not true. Sure, they often got away with it just like Beverley does today. But we noticed it nonetheless whether you're talking about Bruce Bowen or Bill Laimbeer or Dennis Rodman or John Brisker or John Stockton or Karl Malone or Rick Mahorn or Joakim Noah or Charles Oakley or Kevin Garnett or Mark Jackson or Isiah Thomas or John Starks or Dikembe Mutombo or Reggie Evans. Granted much of what earns a technical today would have been just a common foul 30 years ago but dirty was always dirty.

If Bev could help a team win he would actually stick to a team, instead he is being used as filler for trades
