Did we extend Bazley the QO?

I would think we wouldn't, it's like 6 million and I expect he will be looking at the minimum, but we can offer him multiple years because we own his bird rights.
No we did not. But we can still resign him for less.

Kyrie would have to play for the minimum if he signed with the Suns.

If it were theoretically possible, it would have to be a mult-team trade because Ayton's and Kyrie's salaries do not match. The Suns cannot bundle Ayton's contract with another Suns player.
Correct. If true and hes going to meet with Suns, he must literally have some interest in signing at the minimum. As crazy as it sounds, Kyrie would be the type of guy to do it. He could see it as a fun opportunity to win a championship for a year, rebuild his name as a champion then go get the deal he wants. Its not all that crazy..

I am not saying it is the case but yea I agree.. if anyone is to do something so wild.. I could see it being Kyrie..

I know the money figure is not the same but I worked with an Electrical Engineer who was making $120k a year. Guy was in his 50s and was pretty much set for life. One day he got tired and said he was done. Took a job making $10 an hour. Said it was the best thing he ever did. No stress.. no deadline pressure.. enjoyed the people around him..

Maybe Kyrie is feeling the same lol..

So Eric Gordon is going to be a free agent.

That is a guy I would like to see the Suns get for the Min. Far more useful than a guy like Lee or Ross.

Is Gordon a vet minimum guy? I just don’t see him wanting to take vet minimum.

Again, I wouldn't want to play poker with James Jones.

Reading comments from the press conference, Frank Vogel comes close to suggesting another point guard might be an option.

By Gerald Bourguet PHNX:

“We want to play with pace, so we’re gonna have a multiple ball-handler attack on most possessions, but I love the fact that both Bradley and Devin have played point at phases of their career and can initiate offense, as can KD,” Vogel said. “We also want to see how the rest of the roster shakes out to see if we add a point guard. Cam Payne will be in mix. All those decisions will play out in camp, but we’re gonna play with pace and have a multiple ball-handler attack.”

Kyrie is not playing for the minimum and everyone knows it. Him not saying anything could make Dallas pay more so it’s a smart answer.

Strategically, it's smart of James Jones not to say anything.

On the other hand, I have no idea how Kyrie thinks.

Beal is really a wise person. The team is gonna win it this year.

He might be, he’s old and people aren’t going to be looking to pay him big money. I think he wants a ring, so we should have a chance.
He is said to need a defined role on a contender, which the Suns definitely can provide as the first off-bench and likely closing out the game with big-4. So, if he is not getting at least 6m/y from another contender team, we got a good chance at him for min.

Can’t wait to see the lazy guy that doesn’t run most of the time lol… this must be sarcasm. Our best hope is he can get half a season of good Ayton so his trade value isn’t poo! I have zero faith that Ayton is just gonna turn into a different player than he has EVER been and maintain it!
