As a rookie, Pfaadt is simply not up to the task of playoff baseball. The Brewers are a "light hitting" team that has great pitching. Pfaadt has managed to give up 3 runs in 2 innings and this one is on Lovullo for starting a rookie pitcher with a 3-9 record in the first game of a short playoff series.
