I really didn’t want to defend Kyler so I added in that statement of it really not being a defense of Kyler. It’ll be labeled as excuses so I wanted to use Herbert as the example. Herbert is a guy I’m pretty sure everyone would obviously take over Kyler, but even there’s so much “elevating” Herbert could do with a bad supporting cast around him.
Also, there was supposed to be a giant improvement on play calling with a new OC. Not seeing it. Could be some OC learning Kyler, etc. There were some small stretches where calls looked good, then back to obvious run plays dropped behind the LOS. Kind of wondering how much Kyler can overcome bad play calls? Or maybe their D just had great plays ALL game long? Did anyone else notice how many times the Chicago D had the word great associated with their plays yesterday? At one point I was wondering is it Chicago playing great, or us playing bad?

I think if we are being fair to both Murray and Dobbs before him, we do have consider that neither player had the off season to work through issues.

"...he’s been given no chance really."

Even with the nod to he should be better regardless, this is pure absolution. No QB could ever be successful if given "no chance really."

I’m talking about Fields. Look at the post I replied to lol

Nice try. To quote that post: "What Kyler is dealing with right now is what Fields has dealt with his entire career. He should be better regardless but he’s been given no chance really."

You put them in the same boat. It's Christmas, so I'll believe you didn't mean it that way and just wrote it wrong. All good.

Dude…..he’s saying our current supporting cast is what Fields has been dealing with his entire career in Chicago.
You are so angry at Kyler & ready to fire off at anyone that isn’t putting him in the dirt that you’re not even comprehending correctly.

No he didn’t Stout. He’s saying Kyler’s supporting cast RIGHT NOW is what Field’s has dealt with his ENTIRE CAREER.

That clearly distinguishes a difference in what Kyler had versus what he has now… as in Kyler’s played in a better situation outside of this season.

Eh I'd take all of those teams supporting casts over the Cardinals even at full health.
From day 1 of the season we fielded the worst roster in football. Washington hasn't done much better, but they were handily deeper and more talented than us.

Remember, this franchise, with a straight face, had Leki Fotu as a starting DT for the opening game.

Well starting Fotu is bad but currently missing him in the lineup makes us really bad.

We’ll see. A lot of job openings this off-season & whoever will offer him the most money.
I think there is a strong chance Bieniemy would stay in Washington. It would be a unique situation, but I guess I have always felt he was the choice post-Rivera. Maybe that changes if they fire their GM.

Think Johnson is going to take a hard look at LA.
