I beat the drum hard the last 5 to 10 years to draft the best DT/IDL in round one. I am going to for this one as well. It's the least talented part of the team, and has always been one of the worst units for this franchise. This defense will NEVER be top 5 without guys who are legit two block eaters, threats to shoot the gaps, on the interior.

We have always gone cheap, getting day 3 picks, vet minimum guys, and Monti did too. I know you can't address all positions in one year, but I hope he doesn't drop it down the priority list like Keim.

Yep totally different player than Jordan Davis who you and I were touting but impact guy. He has great hand strength, he is just tossing OL's aside.

Definitely a guy that should be on our radar.

Carolina plays Houston this weekend. Sure would be nice for Carolina to get their first win!

We are in big trouble if we tie the teams below us because of our SOS.

If we tie, we would basically drop from 2 to 9 (as it stands today).

Who would you rather have...

Jordan Addison at $3.4M/year for the next 4 years or Hollywood Brown at $20m/year?

Heck, Zay Flowers is on pace to exceed Hollywood's best year in receiving yards (in Baltimore as well).

This WR class is stacked - WAY better than last year.

Are those guys available? Because in the draft you could get those dudes or you could get Rondale Moore or Treylon Burks.

Burks has nine receptions this season.

@kerouac9 did nail the primary issue of the draft...any of these guys could be busts.

Hollywood is a proven NFL contributor. We also haven't seen the ideal conditions for Hollywood to succeed in a Cardinals uniform yet, and he's still been pretty good.

He also wanted to be in AZ...play with Murray...and he's quiet, not a diva...seems like a good dude, to me.

Agree. Put a true #1 across from him...use the TE more...and Brown can do a lot more than he has so far.

I think you're on the right track here oaken1. I think Brown being so productive last year before getting hurt proves your point.

He's not a #1 WR component of a championship team. He is good enough however to fill the role of WR2 for a championship team.

So the key is to sign him to a fair (to both sides) deal for that role. And here's the thing. I think he'll take a little hometown discount to stay in ARZ to play with his homeboy Murray. 100% I think that.

Murray to Brown will be part of the battery in 2024. We desperately need a legit #1 though if we're serious about contending next year. That's going be hard.

This mirrors my thoughts on Brown.

My ideal would be to draft MHJ and have a wr corps of MHJ, Brown, and Wilson. Brown would be the expensive guy, but the group overall wouldn't be outrageously expensive. By the time MHJ is up for a contract, Brown's contract would be up or close to done.

If we can sign him to something similar to what Jax did with Christian Kirk do it pending what he does the rest of this year.

Watching Ohio State teams just don't know how to cover MHJ. Often times I see him get a catch and a defender isn't even in the screen.
He did make an amazing touchdown catch earlier in the game in the end zone.

Would it be slightly too crazy to draft both MHJ and Coleman from FSU with our first round picks? I kid.

Side note on Marvin Harrison Jr...

Here is the list of WR's taken in the top 3 in the last 20 years:

2007 - Calvin Johnson
2005 - Braylon Edwards
2004 - Larry Fitzgerald
2003 - Charles Rogers and Andre Johnson
