From strictly a fans pov, I think that both Williams and Maye will be VG NFL QB's, but I don't want either one of them as I really like our QB room, with Kyler, Dobbs and Tune. But I'm hoping that we're in a position to draft Maye, pretty sure Williams will go #1, and we can cash in, trade wise.

lets say the Cards two picks end up straddling 10th overall like they sit today: 9th and 12th

And they have the oppty to trade both of those up to 3rd to take MHJ. (this assumes Murray comes back and looks good)

No. I don’t even think the team who’s in a position to draft MHJ with that 3rd spot will trade away from him anyway.

If Kyler comes back and craps the bed, you take Maye and be happy with it.

What's funny is that Maye would have been the perfect QB for Carolina. He's a Charlotte native!
