I just never liked Princely as much as others. He just doesn't have any trait that screams good NFL player to me. Not real quick, not real strong, not an impressive blend of either.

Another guy that I was less impressed with the more I watched was Kenneth Grant. Just didn't see why he was so highly ranked other than his size and pedigree.
Hooray, someone else that was scared of Grant. I agree there, he just screams bust to me.

I’m not sure what some of you are looking at, this guy is 6’5 280 and runs a 4.6, that’s fast.

He looks like a good Defensive end prospect, not so much an olb. I think he will take over for Calais next year.

But this makes me think zaven has to be going back to ILB
I know 280 doesn’t seem big, but watch film on the guy. He either engulfs blockers or blows them up. It’s weird. I must admit it reminds me of how Skattebo hits people. They just bounce off.

I have seen his weight reported from 267 to 295..not sure which is the truth. 267 puts him 3-4 OLB or 4-3 DE.....295 makes him a 3-4DE
Not sure where he is at. either way he needs to improve his hand usage

One path to playing time is moving Zaven back to ILB. That makes this pick make more sense
It does...and Zaven didnt suck at ILB...he just wasnt very dynamic. His coverage is good. Maybe with these new big bodies up front he wont have to get swallowed up by OG's in the run game.

Careful oak- I got roasted before for suggesting it might make sense to move zaven back to ILB

I don't see an issue with snaps here.

1a. Josh Sweat 60%-70%
1b. Baron Browning 40%-50%
2a. Jordan Burch 30%-40%
2b. BJ Ojulari 25%-35%
3a. Zaven Collins 15%-25%
3b. Xavier Thomas Inactive

X will be the next guy up with an injury and as we know that will happen. Burch and BJ will have ups and downs with playing time with one off an injury and one a rookie. Browning might even be a tad lower since he is a liability in against the run.
