Wife asked me just before half when she saw the score, " why are you not excited like you always get"? I answered, "Theres still another half" She understood later.

I'm sure anyone of us who knew the score at half time had to know the Cards were toast. I was playing golf with the game on Tivo for later, didn't want to know the score till after golf.... I'm sure you know what happened. Someone said something and.... game over, man... game over

I was at the Rams game today. (Free tickets from one of my vendors) Went to see the Saints. Saw the half time score of the Cards game. At first was real excited bt then saw the Ravens keep coming back. Cannot say I was surprised by the outcome.

Amazing...I thought the same. We will lose in the second half. And rightfully so, they came out idiotic in the second half. What an embarrassment. Did they forget there is another 30 min to play???? Or they were satisfied with the win by the half? Man, I just don't get it. I hope Whis learned his lesson how to adjust going into the second half from Harbough.

Ravens scoring so easily on the first drive of the second half did it for me. I knew we were done.

I mentioned in the game thread that Cards create false hopes... for a moment I started to think in the 2nd quarter we may have an NFL califer football team after all.

So how did the Ravens win? I know by FG as time expire but didnt the Cards have the ball to at least send it to overtime tied with a minute left? I was at work. so i went to meeting hoping to catch OT. But ravens won. dont get it.

Cards punted from their end zone with 1.02 left. Ravens fielded the punt around mid field and returned to Cards 42 yards. The game was pretty much over as they only needed 10-12 yards to get into FG range with all three timeouts remaining. They played agressive, to win, and threw a 36 yard pass to around 5 yard line. They let the clock run down to 3 sec and hit a 25 yard chipshot FG to win it.

My wife was at the in-law's house and when someone (knowing I was a die hard card fan)mentioned the Cards were up 24-6 at half, she said they'd lose.

At least it was only for a moment.

I knew we were going to lose this game today, whether by blow out, or but choking, I knew it.

24-3, and I didn't even raise an eyebrow, why get excited over things you already know ain't going to mean diddly squat.

Kolb made it real easy to know we where going to lose. He looked like horse-poop from the beginning till the end of the game.

It was 24-3, and I said.

- Kolb hasn't thrown his standard, per game, tipped pass INT.

- Kolb hasn't gotten sacked 16 yards in the backfield over 4 times (his quota) today

- Boldin has yet to "go off".

They all happened and we lose. No surprise from the Same Old Cardinals.

Next up ? Blowout loss to the Rams. Write it down.

.

LOL I have heard of a lot of ways to lose ball games. But choking is a new one on me. That does not even sound good because they tell me compaction is pretty painful. I don't know as it could be more painful that yesterday's second half.

At half time there was no doubt in my mind that we would lose this game. Love how Whis told the sideline reporter at half "If it aint broke dont fix it."
