Being dumb enough to tell a TSA screener that you have a bomb in your bag would be serious to your employer. Obviously the guy has mental issues.

Aldon Smith should get a year off.After all Alex Karras and Paul Hornung got a whole season off for gambling.Aldon Smith (Bomb? 2 DUI`s,gun charges,.).Washington gets a 4 game suspension for pot then ASmith should get a year.

I've seen it in a few folks, mostly famous people, a lot more in really wealthy people. I call it the "I'm Rick James" syndrome, they think they can't be touched and the ego is stronger than the reality they conceive.

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith pleaded no contest Wednesday to three felony weapons charges and two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence.

The 24-year-old Smith entered his pleas in a Santa Clara County Superior Courtroom in San Jose. He faces a sentence ranging from spending no time in custody to a maximum of four years and four months behind bars at a judge's discretion, prosecutors said.

Smith is scheduled to be sentenced on July 25 — two days after the 49ers are to open training camp in Santa Clara.
