Man... it's so hard to see the Cards destroying in Blow-Out fashion the 9ers twice in one year.

I am hopeful this Cards team will keep their heads screwed on and take care of business, however, coming off to huge wins that were very emotional and extremely physical, I am worried of a let down...

Isn't this the first time Iupati will play against his old team? Wasn't he out when we beat up the 9ers the first time? I hope he rallies and has a big game, allowing CJ, Ellington and DJ to run wild! Would love nothing more than for this game to be a game where we take some pressure off of Palmer and our receivers, remove Palmer as much as possible from being hit, and unleash our run game!

I'll take a 24-10 victory for the Cards. Just get the W baby... ;)

The 1st quarter and a half of this game is key.

IF the Cardinals get up a TD or two, this team will fold.

Sidenote: Eric Reid didn't know who Thomas Rawls was. LOL

Cards likely to miss all these players for the game:

Peterson
Copper
Redding
Rucker
Floyd.

That's a lot of pieces and the Noners still have some players...

Of those guys, only Peterson and Rucker are significant. I love Michael Floyd, but he's replaceable for one game against a team that hasn't scored more than 17 points in a game since October 17 — particularly when you have Jaron Brown and J.J. Nelson to work matchups.

Cooper is an average lineman. His ceiling is higher than most, but I haven't seen him do anything this year that makes me think that Ted Larsen can't fill in for a game.

Cory Redding is just a warm body.

I think Floyd and Coop are practicing. Peterson is the one I worry about the most, even if we're going against a porous 9ers.

The niners are aweful, and they have gotten way worse since last time we played them. They've lost several more key players. I dont say that in a mean HAHA kind of way, it's just the current reality of their team.

It's hard to imagine a scenario other than catastrophic injuries where the Cardinals lose this game. I'm not being arrogant, but this isn't a Whisenhunt team that will lay 2 or 3 40 point blowout eggs every season. I'm very confident the Cards win this one fairly easily. Not 47 to 7 again but in the ballpark of 2 TD's.

Our backup guards concern me the least, they were able to hold up against the Cincy pass rush, they should be fine against a depleted niners Oline.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

I'm a little worried that the "old Cards" would overlook this game or trip after two emotional highs on and three Primetime games in a row. This is a game to take care of business against an opponent who is limping.

You are not alone in your concern about the "old Cards" making an appearance. That concerns me as well. It is not so much that I expect it to happen, but that I am so conditioned over the years to seeing this type of game, that it is hard to get the notion out of my mind. We should be okay, and we certainly have the depth to handle any threat that SF could deliver. Even so, I can't help being guarded by a game like this one.

For the record, I'm taking San Francisco to cover.

I don't see them overlooking anyone. They know what each game means at this point in the season. Every game at this point helps them get to the next step. Their goal is much bigger than SF. They need every game they can get and they know it.

Now, CJ might be out as well!!!
Where are you getting info? Everything I read is Cooper is improving and Floyd/Peterson are probable. Nothing about cj either.
