Since when did $50 become chump change?
Ask anyone without a job or anyone fighting to keep there jobs and they will tell you $50 is a lot of money.
Two tickets at $50 plus fees, etc. and the cost is more like $120. I simply believe that economic factors are weighing more than whether people are Cards fans or not.
On another note, what about all of those Cardinals season tickets holder that DID NOT buy the playoff tickets? I don't know what the conversion percentage was, but might have been only 80%. The other drawback of the playoff ticket purchase through the Cardinals/NFL is that they require you to pay for two possible games at the maximum price.
I have four tickets in the lower level and I paid $1,300 back in November for this one playoff game, maybe two games. Sure some of the money will be rolled into next year, but not everybody can drop cash like that. Not totally surpring to me that the game is not sold out.
