Record in last 9 games... Impressive by any standard IMO. Especially when you consider start.

8-8 is where, at least myself, saw this team being. How they got there is impressive, and puts the offseason, and next season into a very optimistic light. Yet, the Cardinals need to take care of business in the offseason. If they can even just keep the team at the same level talent wise, or best case scenario improve the talent on the team, then they should be a contender next year.

Next season this team has to win a division that will be a little more competitive then in years past.

We need to keep the talent we have on the team, and build on what success we have had during the end of this season.

What is typed above is SO easy to type on a message board. But, this front office has to make it happen. 8-8 is 8-8. The Cardinals don't have to do too much this offseason to improve, and be dangerous, but we will see.

Good win. Good season. They were competitive in a lot of the games, and were very entertaining. As a business ? Worth the money spent.

Looking forward to this offseason. In reality, just sign Calais Campbell.

What more could you ask for as a season ticket holder than 4 Overtime wins out of 8 home games?

Whisenhunt is now 7-2 in overtime games. Cards are 11-5 in Overtime since 2000.

4-8-4 in regulation this season. Who was coaching this team Charley Winner? It's exciting guys but how about putting some games away early so Cardinal fans won't have to buy so much blood pressure medicine?

Great finish to the season going 7-2.

Still lots of areas that need improvement. It would be nice to find a Horton type coach for our offense. Maybe some team will hire Grimm and we can some new blood on the offensive side of the ball.

Good record but very concerning that there have been zero games this season where the Cards have just dominated the other team.

I'm not concerned because the Cards are still a collection of too young and too old without decent talent at the most critical position, QB. Next year they won't have so many too young players.

I'm really impressed by the defense that they were able to hold Seattle with both Dan Williams and Calais Campbell out of the game.

Although the Defensive MVP for us today was the Seattle QB who kept overthrowing wide open receivers. :p

Another exciting OT finish. 8-8 after the start they had is very nice. 7-9 wouldn't have been for me. Lets see the FO make some steller moves by signing Campbell and finding us another playmaker in the Draft. The D is the MVP along with Larry. Great finish to the season...but missed it by that much....meaning close losses and the playoffs. Better luck next year.

We all know it was a season that could have been but wasn't. During the losing streak I could hardly even turn on NFL channel as it was just depressing. This second half really got me back into the games and I think they were really fun to watch...especially the defense. I'm actually excited about next year... only 9 months to wait!!!:koolaid:

I can't get over how freaking awesome these last nine games have been.

Second best run of Cardinals football I have seen...and both are under Whisenhunt.

No doubt. All the credit in the world to the coaching staff for righting the ship and to the players for never giving up. 10-6 is definitely achievable next season.

Yessir. Also have to count 1998 when the Cards got slaughtered the first two weeks of the season and rallied to the 2nd round of the playoffs. 20-17 in OT on the road over the Eagles, 19-17 vs Saints, and that ridiculous game vs San Diego to end the season.

Impressive UNTIL you consider the start, IMO.

Actually makes it more impressive. Theis team should have folded and they didn't. 4 ot victories to boot. That's all coaching.

There's an explanation for that............we're just not good enough to dominate ANYONE yet. The QB position and the OL needs to improve in order for this team to get to the 10-12 win range. We don't win that game without the incredible catches by Fitz. If Warner were behind center, we would have scored 40 pts today. There had to be around 10 passes that Skelton threw where Fitz had to dive to get his hands on the ball. Hit Fitz in stride & a few of them are tds. Nothing against Skelton, he's a kid with nice upside. But unless his accuracy improves, we will never be a dominant team.

I'm encouraged by how well we played on the road at times this season also.

We dominated Baltimore at their place for much of the game, came back like crazy against the Bengals, beat the Eagles, etc.

In your dreams. If those wins are all coaching so are all the losses.

And Levi Brown is still a better pick than Adrian Peterson, right?

Okay. You win. :notworthy:

Except that if AP were playing for the Cards he wouldn't have been hurt and we'd be on our way to our 4th consecutive post season and we'd get to see the Lombardi Trophy at the UPS and James Laurinaitis would be on his way to his 2nd pro bowl as a Cardinal.
