These are the types of games where I'd like to see Ayton step up and be a bigger presence.

Ayton is pathetic so far today. That ole D on Simmons followed up by hot potatoe with the ball right by the hoop then throw... eh forge it.

If Ayton would play defense and rebound that would be something.

Suns didn't get any easy shots in first half. Tough half.

76ers are intent to win this game. Suns have to respond like a playoff game.

Simmons is such a hard player to guard. Long arms, speed, and great positioning.

It's not a good sign when a player completely disappears in a game like Ayton has. Some players step up in these games. Some of them shrivel up.

Simmons (16) and Embiid (15) have forced their will on Suns.

Ayton didn't step up in first half. He needs to minimally play defense and rebound in the second half. 76ers can't drive inside with impunity and get second shots.

Suddenly Ayton is involved in the game in second half.

I like Frank but players are going to shoot over the top because he doesn't elevate.

Pretty bad when you'd rather see Saric and Frank man the 4 & 5 rather than see Ayton out there for the majority of the second half.

Nader might help as he likes to slice to the basket.

Big 3 by Chris Paul to cut 76ers lead to 72-70.

I think the Suns are in good position to take this.
Ayton just projects zero confidence.

Yea. His talent is immense but we've seen a lot of players like this come and go over the many years of watching ball. You can't teach what he's missing and he's not going to find it overnight. It's unfortunate because if he ever found that edge he would be unstoppable.
