dont worry, Shaq at this stage of his career is worried about his image so he won't threaten to avoid playing defense and rebounding if he doesn't get his touches like he did in LA

shaq right now is all about 100% doing whatever the suns want him to do, because he knows all eyes are watching. so you can be sure shaq is TRYING HARD... the problem is, does it matter if he tries or not anymore due to his age and how can the suns make the best of the situation to win

That was terrific man:)

We will win this hame,no worries. We didn't start good but we re on a run,and I don't think Philadelphia will keep shooting like the 1st quarter

Oh man,I didn't see that coming,I never liked the trade but I didn't actually think we ll be a team that barely wins against Memphies and loses to Philadelphia at home.

Everyone who beat the crap out of Marion for years on this board is starting to realize what he meant to us. Namely, everything. Apparently, he was all that kept us from being the worst defensive team in NBA history. And he was also the key to our fast-break offense. And our rebounding.

Man, Steve Kerr must be feeling it. Kerr, you are no Colangelo. More like Ainge/Thomas/Vandeweghe/Bird/McHale/Jordan.

Think Sarver should be kicking himself for cashing us out of the last bunch of drafts?

Think Iguodola would help us right now? How about Marcus Williams or Rajon Rondo?

I think the Suns are going to draft higher with their own pick than with Atlanta's. I actually do. Impossible to believe, but true. Atlanta is making the playoffs. Their remaining schedule is the easiest in NBA history. They play the Knicks 3 more times, among countless other patsies. The Suns will miss the playoffs at this rate. The west is just too tough, and we are in a complete tailspin.

I agree with Marion part but I think we ll get lower pick than Atlanta and yes we will make the play-off's.Denver will be out for sure.

We wish. The Suns gave their pick this coming summer to the Sonics in the Kurt Thomas sale, pardon me, trade. Unprotected.

just got home and couldn't help but laugh at the score of this game.

Also, if you notice every other game tonight was just as lop sided as this one should have been, and the better team blew the other team out.

I keep forgetting about that, Eric. That must be the worst trade in NBA history.

So we better make the play offs. Defeating direct competition over the next games (Portland, Denver) would be the first step.

Disagree about Marion, because the Suns were losing to teams like this with him before, so where is the change?

As far as your bashing of Kerr and saying he's no Colangelo, the team selling draft picks and such, remember it was Colangelo who traded the draft pick that could have been Igoudala, of course, because he didn't think Iggy would last that long.

As far as Nash goes, a late season breakdown was standard in Dallas. That is why Cuban didn't match the Suns offer. The first 3 seasons in Phoenix were the healthiest in Nash's career. He may just be experiencing a season that goes back to the normal Steve Nash career.

Yeah, we lost some games to crappy teams even with Marion, but somehow we still led the Western Conference, and now we are just hoping to make the playoffs. There is the change for you.

Another factor i think is that...

fatigue has set in for Nash, Hill, Bell etc

These guys are 30+ years old and ran a heck of a lot.

I have no proof, but I can only attest that straineous runnin does wear out joints quck. Its not like they sprint then walk... then sprint etc. Thats strengthenning your legs. But constanty running playing 35+ minutes with little rests it will affect muscle recovery and joint recovery.

Are they playing through fatigue?

The Suns' lead in the Western Conference was by like a half a game, and that's something to beat our chests over and say "now this team is going somewhere"?

It speaks volumes of how slim (and maybe misleading) that lead was that once the Suns played some of the top teams, they lost a few games and are now sitting in the sixth spot.

I don't imagine this is a problem, I mean, these are professional athletes with outstanding trainers to help them recover.

Mavs vs. Lakers, tomorrow on ABC. That will help the booboo go away.

You mean the game where Kobe basically told any writers that aren't voting for him as MVP to go suck on their haterade in peace?

That's a given playing only 7 men rotation Suns style trackmeet ball. That's partially responsible for us losing in the playoffs too.
