They might be old, but I would love to see Dockett and Kelly, along with Williams and Campbell in a 4-3 formation next season... luv DD!

i want see a great defensive line like this season
but as a fan you should think how much some high salaries can reduce the chances to upgrade this roster

9-0 is one of my favorites. He's one of the top 5 reasons we've turned this ship around.

I hope he takes a cut and stays, I really do. He'd better end up in the ROH.

I would rather they give the money to DD instead of Larry. In the current environment of the NFL money is the deciding factor almost all of the time with no player or no team having any loyalties to each other. It's refreshing to hear a player like DD admit his loyalty lies with the Arizona Cardinals.

He will restructure and fix part of the money problem. bank on it.

Cool. Play for 3m a year.

If its a fair value for him he will, I dont know what fair value is on a guy like him around the league.

Make it 2m

Let's see how bad he really wants to stay here lol.

You still have to compensate the guy for what he brings, he has to be worth more than 2mil a year.

That's what they all say but in the end $$$ talks....

As long as our offer is fair, he wouldn't leave. Bank on it.

He will stay. ROH is a maybe. I dont know if his stats and etc earn it but his part of the culture change sure does.

Beanie LOL

My 7 y/o daughter loved Beanie. Still asks about him and why he isn't playing. I'm sure it's just her fascination with his name though, more than anything.

For the record, I think I'd list my top 5 players as:

1. Aeneas - Best player in AZ Cards history.
2. Q - most dominant/physical WR I've every witnessed.
3. Dockett - Mr. Arizona. As a young player, had an amazingly quick first step. Seems to love the team as much as fans do.
4. Fitz - Classiest player in AZ Cards history. Sure fire HOF receiver.
5. Tillman - Inspiring player who makes me want to be a better person.

Honorable Mention
1. Swann - When healthy, he was a man among boys on the field.
2. A-Dub - tremendous worker who made it cool for players to want to remain with the team.

Go Cards!!!

I loved Beanie lol. The stiff arms and knocking off of helmets were awesome. He played behind a **** line and didn't complain. People forget that he pretty much gave up his career for us. Running half the season on that blown out knee because we had nobody else ruined it forever, was beyond ballsy and earned the hell out of my respect. Zero doubt in my mind that if he were drafted into this team, you'd see a drastically different career.

After his comments about Dansby leaving last year combined with these comments, lets see just how much he is a man of his words. Which I think he just might be.

Right? Sometimes people should just read the whole article:

“Do I want to leave Arizona? No,” Dockett said. “But if I had to, despite being frustrated having to go somewhere else, I would. I can’t say I would be happy with the situation if that decision if it was made, but I understand this is a business. It’s happened to the best of them. At the end of the day my loyalty is to Arizona.”

Counterparties tend to have pretty different ideas about what a "fair" contract is.

I read the entire article. He'll be back. That is his way of saying I wont play for nothing but I want to be here and will take a reasonable paycut. If he doesn't say that, he gets lowballed to hell.

Sometimes people shouldn't act so rude with their condescending comments.

Dockett's 90 jersey is the only one I have ever owned other than my own. When I was playing football in high school and college I didn't wear other peoples jersey's and I still don't. I wear my Cardinals red or black sideline cap, stocking cap, white 1/4 zip, choose between a few hoodies, same with T,s, black pants and shoes...but never a jersey. Until 90. He is Zany, whacky and borderline crazy but he has kept me motivated for 10 years now. I played LB and DTs were the best. They were crazy...they had to be. My favorite player of all time(should have it's own thread)....hmmmm. Niko Noga, Curtis Greer, Roy Green, Eric Swann, O.J. ANDERSON lol, Conrad Dobler...yep, Darnell is my favorite. I hope we do right by Darnell...aka 9-0.

Personally, I think this is an easy fix for Cards front office with a restructure. This will get done.
