Holy shmoley, that was fast. He's not a backup with a five year deal.

As a RG I have no problem with it.

I like it if he's a depth signing. I'm scared if he signed to be a starter.

Let's see how FA/draft goes. May start, may not RT @maricopacourt: “@Cardschatter: "G/T Adam Snyder agrees to 5-year deal." Is he upgrade?

He didn't sign a five year deal on the second day of free agency to be a backup. He just started the entire season for a team that was 13-3! Why in the hell would he pounce on a backup gig?

interesting to see the dollars

good guard on a team that RAN the ball physically

can swing to tackle or center in a pinch

worse guys to have on the roster

From a Niner fan:

Lol at G/T. Snyder has been horrible his entire career as a T. But lets be fair last year he was a solid Guard...but I bet he is asking too muc

Agreed. Plus, he ought to be able to give some tips to our guys on both the d-line and o-line of the Niners.

Cardinals announce five-year deal with Adam Snyder

The Arizona Cardinals announced Wednesday that they have agreed on a five-year contract with offensive lineman Adam Snyder, formerly of the division-rival 49ers.

Snyder is a 30-year-old journeyman kind of player, though he’s spent his entire career in San Francisco to this point. He’s started games at both tackle and guard, and was the 49ers’ starting right guard in 2011.

Arizona is desperate for offensive line help, as usual, and they will need to continue to add to it.

Snyder did not make the PFT Hot 100 list.

I'm fine with it, but we need a T much more than a G.

Depends how much we signed him for. The niners seem happy to get rid of him. Like a horrible tackle that is a servicable guard. Reminds me of Levi.

The Whiners will hate anyone they just lost.

I get the impression that he is an average guard and a terrible tackle. Since we will likely have him at guard, this is a decent signing, yet nothing to be excited about.
