With this crazy off-season, we are going to see an avalanche of injuries across the league...for a variety of reasons.

This really sucks. A-dub hurt and Adams has knee problems. This is so not what this team needs.

CB Mike Adams missed practice with knee swelling. Might need a scope. Hope is he won't miss much time

More bad news.

Wonder if a call will be made to Anthony Madison (5-9, 180. 6, 29, Alabama, PITT). He was solid for them in a sub package role.

Other UFAs I like is Josh Bell (5-11. 180, 26, 4, Baylor, GB)...or...Ellis Hobbs, (5-9, 195, 7, 28, Iowa St. PHI).

Tough break for A-Dub and the team. The guy has only missed 8 games in his entire career. I hope it's nothing serious, but all of these negative signs tell otherwise.

I'm all for a Goldson signing if what we fear is true.

Mitch according to you all of these guys would probably fit our system to a tee and probably be better than A-dub himself ALA your Osi Yumenyioura suggestion.

This is why I love CBs. Never can have enough. Petersen could possibly have been moved to safety.

Just got a text from AZ Central saying A-Dub could miss significant time. The only time I remember them sending a text like that prior to the MRI results is when an injury was obviously season ending. Not good, folks.

Never happen with Goldson. That would mean the Cards have too much money tied up in one position long term. We could offer a bunch on a one yr contract knowing he'll hit FA next year, but that might be a wise move considering.

You don't think Osi would change the dynamic of this team? We suddenly would be feared in the pass rush. But, hey, I know, Shane, you'd rather have Clark Haggans be the LDE in passing situations, because he's yours and the FO's better fit.

To be honest, I didn't seem to think it was that serious until the tweet by Urban. He had it iced and didn't seem to be in to much pain. Who knows. He is a tough SOB.

What free agent is getting a long term deal right now? Goldson likely is gonnna sign on for ONE year somewhere..

There are some other free agent safeties available besides Goldson like Ndukwe - Bengals. But Matt Ware comes very cheap.

Goldson wants too much money, that's why he is still unemployed. He priced himself right out of Frisco.

His patience will eventually pay off because someone like the Cards will have to pay him. Only question is he a Strong Safety or FS? Seems to have the size you want for a SS.

No. We would rather not have the team pay $10m a year (Osi's demand) for a 4-3 end who would be a situational pass rusher in a 3-4.

It's simply time for Rashad Johnson to step up. They used a third round pick on him and it's to see what they got.
