Lamar is a freak athlete. But he’s a RB...
He doesn’t throw the most catchable ball.
Tonight, he had plenty of balls that were off target.
The NFL will catch up to Lamar and in fact, Vrabel showed the way tonight.
Lamar will have to make some adjustments now... and of course, the league will then react to his adjustments.
Kyler is a QB, not a RB. There is no comparison to make here...

In a van...down by the river.
Did anyone else thoroughly enjoy watching the Ravens get dominated, or was it just me?
think it might just be you.

Currently, LJ is NOT a great passer of the football. But, he's so insanely great with his legs & play action, that he doesn't have to necessarily be a great passer. Being less than an hour from Baltimore, I watch a ton of Ravens football. Every Raven's fans nightmare showed itself tonight. All year long, I asked the question: Can Jackson rally the Ravens with his arm? It didn't seem plausible that they would fall behind tonight as much as they did. But they did, and the rest of the NFL now has a blueprint on how to beat them. In simple terms, when the Ravens have the lead, they are darn near impossible to beat. And the season stats proved that. Easier said than done, but teams have to come out guns ablazing, and do their best to force LJ to use his arm. If someone told me that the Ravens would throw the ball over 50 times, I would have bet my house that they would lose. I like LJ! And he may very well get a ring some day. But, Vrabel exposed his weakness big time. Like Murray, LJ is a kid that works his a$$ off. Just like last offseason, he'll work to improve. He's a good kid & I hope he does.

Being a douchebag runs in that family. That being said, he's a very good HC.

You see how kyler throws tight beautiful spiral that are easy to catch.

I'll take that all day everyday.

Lamar throws too many wobblers because he cant throw a tight spiral
Yeah not the same passer but unfortunately we have a very mediocre WR unit
Lamar Jackson improved a lot as a passer and he is the best dual treat qb in the league
The team didn't help him today but I don't think he put a bad game overall, 400yards passing and over 100yards rushing
He has to be smart to avoid hit cause the way he plays i don't know how much he can last

The problem the Ravens have is not QB. The problems the Cardinals have is not at QB. Jackson and Murray are a solution for their respective teams. Arguing over Jackson or Murray is like some kind warp use of a proverbial microscope when your actual eyes say that everything is ok :)

Baltimore is far ahead the Cardinals in terms of quality roster

If you switch kyler and lamar, the ravens would be playing a championship game in a week

The Ravens are Helter Skelter. Amusing but not always reliable. Often times it resembles sand lot ball.

Neither Jackson, Murray, or Josh Allen have shown they can beat a team from the pocket. That's what it takes to win in the playoffs and be successful in the NFL. Being a dual threat is nice, but until you can beat a team with your arm more so than your legs, they'll struggle in the playoffs. They can win in the regular season but the playoffs are a whole different game.

Look at the past SB winning QB's. I can't remember one that beat you with his legs over his arm. Wilson may be one but that team was all defense and running game and an aberration. Kind of like when Trent Dilfer won.

Agree. Regarding Wilson, he does far more damage from the pocket than he does with his legs.

Baltimore closed as 10-point favorites over the Titans at the Caesars Sportsbook. Prior to Saturday, Baltimore was the only team in the Super-Bowl era that had failed to lose a game when favored by 10 or more points in a single game; Ravens had been 36-0 as 10+-point favorites.

What I like about Vrabel:
  • Competition at every position and not afraid to make a change in starters
  • Excellent game planning/execution
  • Team plays with an edge
  • Winner
