i say the first thing we need to do is trade him. and hopefully for a top WR....and IF POSSIBLE, to a team with a crappy QB

unless we find out that boldin had a legitimate reason to leave (which is unlikely)...i don't even want to see him here. i'd like to play the super bowl without him too.

I'd be interested in something like Houshmanzadeh and a first, or something. I'm not really good with NFL trades, so I am not sure on contracts and value. I think with Boldin, we should get a starting WR AND a draft pick. There are also some defensive players we could swap for like Ware. How about Andre Johnson? Any other players?

I'll see how he behaves against the Steelers before I decide whether I want him to stay or go, but I bet Whis and Graves already have their minds made up on the matter.

To hell with that. If he wants to be selfish, so can we. Hold him to his contract, but don't let him see the field until he gets his stinkin' mind right. (c) John Lott If we can't have him, no one can.

No trade talks now. Q's a pro he'll calm down and do what it takes to get a ring with this group. There'll be plenty of time in the offseason to sort out his situation

we NEED him against the steelers. also he'll have two more weeks to heal and get near a 100%. lets not forget before the season he was dead even with fitz, if not slightly ahead.

It's not impossible that he did this on purpose to get his way on a trade.

Forcing their hands because absent this kind of behavior I feel the team was going to simply hold him to his contract.

It's really hard to say as a fan I don't like the implications of this but on the other hand you rarely know the whole story.

We owe Q at least the benefit of the doubt until the real story is out there for all to see.

Just stop. Q is a huge reason why the Cards are here. Enough. We know your passionate about this but did you really need to start a new thread on the subject? I mean really. If you posted your thoughts in one of the other 75 threads about Boldin we would have read it. This team is in the Super Bowl can't you guys just be happy with that?

I just don't see why he wasn't out there when he wanted to be. He's a starting WR for us and don't we want all our starters out there when the game is on the line? I would have acted the same way he did BTW.

WE ARE IN THE FREAKING SUPERBOWL! It hasn't even been half a day and you are already trying to plan next year. Either you haven't been a Cardinals fan for long, or you just want to stir the pot. Enjoy the win, enjoy the NFC Championship, and get ready for the Superbowl.

GO CARDS!

I'd see how he responds to the superbowl before starting the trade talk. Usually winning games solves these sort of rifts, but competitive guys like to be in the game during the big moment. I'm not sure of Haley's reasoning for switching him with Breaston (sp?) but obviously it was mishandled by Boldin.

Rob Moore spelled it out on the postgame. It's a fact that Boldin has been hurt and missed a lot of practice. Haley went with a guy where he KNEW what he had. If he hadn't pulled his hammy against Atlanta, he would've been in there. But, he did. When he has time to think about it, he'll realize he should've been cursing his luck not Haley.

True, but Breaston has pretty much been non existent anyways. Not that we needed much more than the Fitz show and solid defense to get here anyways. :grabs:

Q will be healthy by the big game.

Then after that I've always advocated he needs to go, the team isn't big enough for his ego and Fitz's, although Fitz isn't really that way Boldin is and Fitz is more important so one of them has to go and that would be Boldin IMO.

That is all however for another day, this is nothing but a minor scrape after winning a huge game, means nothing to me now, the Super Bowl still hasn't even sunk in yet.

I was quoting you saying "Yeah That" for what you said cause you were right. Was talking to the thread starter....maybe a poor combination of smilies and quoting. But who cares, THE CARDS ARE IN THE SUPER BOWL!

I just want to see how he plays in the big game! If he has a huge game, I'm going to want him back. If Breaston steps up and has a huge game I'd be ok with trading Boldin away. So far tho, I've expected Breaston to get more catches. He's a 1,000 yard reciever and really hasn't produced in the playoffs.

I want him to have a huge game then I want to trade him.

Boldin is not long for this world the way he plays, he's always going to be injured.

The dude has value now and if he has a huge SB his value will never be higher and that's when you trade someone if you're going to.

We could simply use the pick we get to replace him if we don't have an acceptable one on the roster.

The problem is IMO is he's never going to take being 2nd fiddle and here he always will be, and he's hurt a lot.

I love the guy it's not him it's the situation and IMO it's reality.

I didn't catch the post game, unfortunately. I watched the trophy be given out and that was it. Anyway it seems logical enough to keep Boldin out for that reason. Knowing that, i can't say i blame Haley. It sucks to be taken out of the big drive in the big game, but you gotta deal with it and move on. No reason to leave the locker room and not celebrate with the team mates (if that is in fact what happened. I won't trust that article that was posted about Boldin being a Jack***).

OK, I'll play along. Trade him for what? What would you want in return? Keeping in mind other owners may have the same attitude towards him.

Reading this makes me sick. Not because of Boldins actions either. I know he will be there for this team.

It makes me sick because this is what some fans are talking about after the biggest win in Cardinals history and won of the biggest wins in Arizona Sports history.

In a van...down by the river.
What an unbelievably selfish display from Q. Unless the Smoking man in the shadows emerges with new info on this ,i trade his butt outta here on Monday morning after winning the S.B.
Extremely dissappointed in this, my favorite WR(and he's not even on my favorite team) needs to drink a tall glass of **** and apologize to his coaches and teammates.
